from the time, china surpassed japan, to become the world's 2nd largest economy, with chances that it may overtake usa by 2020 on PPP basis, the western media has started posting bogus anti-china news/articles/projections. indians & specially usa's stooge pm & his crony ahluwalia must be delighted in reading these.however they should know that china holds $1.16 trillion us treasury securities(largest amongst all countries), & for getting these usa must have oiled china's palms to buy these bonds. we indians should stop beleving these articles, as they are more a reflection of china bias. india should set its house in order(CWG,2G,S-spectrum,Adarsh, Corporate-Govt dealings etc.), and improve transparency in these sectors.

If I can get to ride Shinkansen bullet trains and live in Shanghai style skyscrapers with "less transparent government", I wouldn't mind that one single bit.

The difference is that China does not need hot money from outside

China has a big pile of cash (US$2.8 trillion) with only US$ 500 billion debt. India's external debt surpassed India's foreign reserves while India has a huge trade deficit (Trade deficit is about 60% of India's export each year), In this case, India needs FII even everyone FII is a poison sometimes.

We suggest Rediff to hire people who have "more" brain. They must conduct IQ tests before hiring. Why do they waste public time ?
