common man especilly middle class also happy

It looks as if subsidy on cooking gas will be withdrawn and prices will increase by Rs 300 per cylinder. BPL families will be given subsidy in cash? More doors open for corruption. It will be a cruel thing if prices per cylinder move up to Rs 700 next year.
But the budget is taking good care of common man by reducing mobile prices. That is more of a necessity than cooking gas. One more good thing, no issue if we find food expenses inflating because we will be getting LED's at cheaper rates.
One more good thing to come out of this budget is that now people will be discouraged to develop complicated health problems for fun sake or as a hobby because if they do & seek medical care in good reputed hospitals they will have to pay more on already very expensive treatments. So, either they must plan not to have serious health problems or they should decide against seeking better health care. Good for people with less resources not to have cancer or heart problems.

Who is Aziz Haniffa in Washington DC ? What is the connection of Corporate America & our budget? Budget helps only rich people to get richer & poor people get more poorer after every budget, they took the precaution of price hike of every daily need things before budget & now it was just show off of producing the budget.

You got it wrong. The purphasing power would negate would you said. If want you compare prices, how about real estate which have almost the same price in US and India? How can India afford to pay the same price as that US to buy a house. Is this fair???

@Chalta Hai.What logic.I'll take it further.A fresh Engineer in USA will earn $4000/- per month.
A fresh Engineer in India earns Rs. 25000/- per month. That is just $543/- per month. So what do you say now.Have you just started going to School?

Developing fields also, they can take the cuts. Indian oilfields are not that economical as of Gulf or Norwegian wells.
What we can do is to promote our Cos. take part in ventures in other countries and use our manpower and brain. This is what China is doing.

opening farm sector to large retail chains will wipe out village roots and strong indian rural model. once that is gone we will fall right into multinationals trap. large amounts of farm products will be under their control and they will use it manipulate indian economy.

Re: Only for the very rich or the very poor

My Friends,
u r very much correct. But who can afford to pay aprice for a clear vision and resultant revolution to warn the crooks and business cronies in the power game.
All our middle class or crushed class are henpeckers or hen cultued living just for spouse and children, no time to spare for our parents too.

Thenit is natural, the more crooks and multinationals will benefit. Why do we blame USA in particular. In USA also the crooks are reigning. 90% of American Citizens are innocent people, who knows only straight forward attitude.
We will be surprised to know that majority of housewives/mothers work in their farms and take care of their farms/vineyards. But the crooks are in the ruling machinery just like in our Indian Democracy machinery. But most of their rulers are not ruthless or shameless.

So Pranab Mukherjee has read a budged written American FM
by S Shrikanth on Mar 01, 2011 11:36 AM  | Hide replies

If America goes GAGA over this budget, that means Pranab Mukherjee has nothing except for a budget written by Washington DC.

The whole aim of this budget is to punish Indian middle class who was fooled by Nuclear Bill in 2009 and voted Congress over overwhelmingly with a foolish dream of India full of energy.

But Indian middle/salaried class is a such is fool piece of living items on this earth who will be fooled again by Congress in 2014. Because Congress has always exploited their weakness every 5 years, time and again.
