micra, ford figo do start at 3.5 but thats barebone car minus all the basic feature, for same price maruti, tata offer more feature laced car, when u want feature that differs micra, ford figo from tata, maruti pay 7 to 9 lakhs for cars which should have been sold for not more than 5 lakhs if this cheap than rediff must closed down or they should shut down such false reporting which is damaging indian automobiles industry.
All models are above 22 lakhs is this writer stupid he think 22 lakh is cheaper to 10 lakh scorpio, xylo, sumo, force trax, do u know toyota corolla sold for 10 lakhs in usa with lot of features and in india same car is sold minus all the feature for 12 lakhs. tata, maruti are serving india with cheap and practical automobiles, we should appreciate their efforts rather than buy bmw, nissan, hyundai, merc all overated, over price
Definitely this is wrong message, most of so called foreign cars are all history models in foreign countries, in spite of highlighting and educating people as old models / technology sold to Indians for high price, shocked to see some authors like this promoting them. Please do your basic research before scripting this kind of topics. my personal experience, after sales issues with foreign cars are more than Indian companies and that too with heavy service charges.Don't create unnecessary hype for foreign cars..!!
Plan to get rid of rogue journalists fooling gullible Indians - Over past few months we have seen how some rogue journalists acting as a power broker are misusing their profession to sell india & sucking its resources like leeches. Some of these leeches aka journalists like Barkha Dutt, Vir Sanghvi, Rajdeep Sardesai have become so powerful that no one has dared to take on them despite the availability of their conversation with Nira Radia in public domain. The time is ripe to get rid of these predators. Important think to note is that these are very powerful journalists. To break their power, we have to take on these journalists one at a time. Out of all these rogue journalists Sagarika Ghose is the weakest. Therefore it should be relatively easy to force her give up journalism. Google "Sagarika Ghose Case Study" and check first result to understand her closely and raise a voice against her. Force her to resign. That will automatically break Rajdeep's power into half and it would be much easier to tackle him. If a strong action is taken against Sagarika Ghose, Barkha and Vir's brazen confidence would be lost and they will be rendered powerless.
any car costs half the price it costs in india.. whether its a honda civic or top of the line.. due to double and triple taxation.. essentially indians pay over twice the worth of a car that sells in the US..

One must be eccentric to buy these cars in india by 3 reason 1. Triple cost of same model with better variant in abroad 2. Fuel cost in India Rs.61 but in middle east Rs.10 equalent 3. Horrible Road... I will get BMW X5 for X1 cost in middle east
Just a thought out of the way.... the fiat taxis [ at bombya ] that are on our roads, these are run for the past atleast 30 years. just imagine if they were plying on eurpoean roads - on our pathetic roads if they are made to run for about thirty years then on eurpoean roads they would have peacefully run for a hundred years odd.
