Elections nearing,the Union Govt.Budget sanctions grants for Religious Institutions.For a nation like BHARAT,a multi-religious democratic nation,it is not fair for the Finance Minister to give any preferences to religious institutions.This makes the Budget more of Election stunt.Somehow the govt. at the center has been doing this since independence,which does not suit a Democracy.
Why should the Central Govt.sanction grants for institutions carrying religious names? Universities like Banaras Hindu University and Aligarh Muslim University,carrying religious names should not get any consideration in Union Budget.
