Farmers should give land to Industries/Companies/Corporations only after seeking a % of profit from them.

Rehabilitation, profit sharing model should be followed
by Parichay on Jun 30, 2011 03:07 PM

If a land is leased for industrial purpose instead of Govt getting the whole lease amount it should be distributed among farmers. A minor portion Govt should take for infrastructure building cost.

Probelm is indian in rural areas are greedy. they want jobs to be created, road built, industry opened. but dont want to make sacrifice. wont give land. well then keep living in jugle raaj like animal. its era of privatisation and globalisation.
if you want your area to develop. better future for your children. u have to make sacrifice, give land to govt so that private can use it. Also if there is no chance of profit, why would any private company go there. villagers have to understand. they should be make aware of new reality of world.
dont mislead them in name of fake socialist idoelogy. its time to face the harsh reality. jai hind.

There are two issue
one farmer who hold the land and farm worker who works both are not educated but lives a decent life since he works hard in the field earns money now take is land build township for rich and middle class but where will he go for his livelywood become a rickshaw puller in city or with the money he will spend it and after some years become penniless but do not have a land nor work he knows He has live a beggar in the city or unskilled low paying wages in factory.
In orissa posco site people whose site is acquired are leaving a happy farming life now govt is asking them to leave with compenation and work in the posco factory and earn peanuts and live a life like beggar
before eating daily please note it is because of the farmer we are eating and hence please think thousand times before taking over agricuture land for township or factory or else you have eat only factory made food

I think u r not aware of the trurh. Thats y this comment from u.
In karnataka NICE project was concieved to connect bangalore to mysore. But later in the year 2000 real estate boom, politicos and other devlopers saw the opertunity and converted this project as big townships etc., and aquired indescriminately. Which lead to total opposition from farmers.

So oppostion to land aquition is not against the project but indescriminate aquicision. Its all abt politics and cahs cow.

Land
by SAM KIM on Jun 30, 2011 12:08 PM

Development means agri and industry both. If we have to improve our life, industry is required. That means land has to be aquired and nobody is against it.

But now a days whats happening in the name of land aquicition? politicians, local goondas are making huge profit at the cost of poor farmers.

Land aquicition has to be specific to the project need. In karnataka govt is come up with bizare plan like land bank!!!. Just aquire land and keep kind of concept. This is just to make money for babus and politicos.

Land is the only asset poor farmers have. we shd not deprive them.

Govt shd not aquire land forcefully. Govt shd act as mediator and investor shd buy land from farmers directly. So that farmers get right value for the land.

“Investor support system” technique is the best approach adopted by govt. of Gujarat to find out the industrial suitable sites. This technique runs more than 80 layers to find out the appropriate land for industries purpose. Its avoid all the fertile land and environmentally sensitive areas.
