Dude, How does it matter, if it is properly tax paid or not? Instead of politicians/ CBI eating it, it is atleast being utilized for a good cause. This is the problem in India, if someone did a good thing, there are negative thoughts around... Ignore all negative and look at positiveness

CBI should enquire how companies pay money to government officials to get major land allotments. These lands are then shown assets on the companies sheets which later increases their share prices on the stock exchange. Which these people then sell and make money. Land aquisition is a biggest scam in india.

If any one thinks that he got the money by some back hand dealings, please forget. He is a smart guy and knows people will be eager to know source of income which he has and will be provided to authorities and not all blogers here!. Over the years he must have received enough bonus shares which appreciated in value every day. What is more important is that Indians started thinking of philanthrophy in big ways and we must salute such people. Most people who makes nasty comments here don't even lift their little finger to help the needy but ready to expose theirignorance through the blogs here.Grow up and have a broad mind.

He has donated but he should take accountability of it too. He is highly educated business man, not just donate the money but should keep accountability of it whether this funds have reached the poor needy people or the politicians chor have grabbed it showing psuedo records. Every money count and is important. Its your money you have right to take every account of every penny.

by pankaj s on Jun 28, 2011 10:01 AM  | Hide replies

How much ambani's donated to poor? The school which they started in name of dhirubhai ambani is now full of children of rich people. Ambani's make a lot from us and corrupt politicians and make dream houses of billions of dollars. I saluate nilkeni & others who give back something to society for showing such courage of helping from his own funds. Ambani's chors their days are ahead !!
