"saying persons aggrieved can avail remedy under the law." This statement of the SC is baffling. Who are the persons aggrieved? it is none others than the poor tax payer of the country. That's why it is Public Interest Litigation. May be it has nothing to do with the 2G scam. But the highest seat of justice should have taken the plea separately. Afterall this drama by Sibal proves his role n corruption. Now who fill foot in Rohintons bill? Is it the exchequer or the tax payer? SC should have taken cognizance of the crime and advised suitably. However the courts have not ruled out the offence committed they have just ruled that it cannot be linked with the 2G scam. So the rat Sibal is still neck deep in shit. Ambani's have shat on his face.

Our justice sytem too has been corrupted??? like media???The crooked media makes big news of small or silly events and JUST IGNORE really sad or heart-breaking news.I read a report in internet today that a kuwait muslim poilce man shot dead four hindu kafirs in that gulf state, for eating food just 5 minuted before the ifathar prayers and he said he did this to get heaven after death with virgins and wine, as preached by quran and mullahs. Sadly the indian embassy and indian and hindu organizations are keeping quiet since they are worried that they will lose their jobs in a msulim fanatic country. RSS,VHP and BJP leaders must raise this issue in parliament and make agitations in streets against barbrian muslim countries which treat hindus as kafirs, etc. Human rights commission of United nations and India must intervene in this sad matter affecting helpless hindus and indians in muslim countries, what a shame
Here i agree the reason for SC not join the 2g and this reduction of fine....here government totally ignored Gopal Subramaniam, cornered him and then made Nariman as the counsel,I am not sure government is allowed to do that.. Sibal is playing all the tricks possible...sooner or later justice will begin on him..All this government has done is outright, outrageous abuse of power...

In most of the cases, the central Govt is getting iron rod from the Apex court. Gopal Subramaniam failed to justify Govt actions and convince the judges

Outrageous abuse of power to suppress any investigations involving congress top level and harass whistle blowers like Baba Ramdev has become the identity of congress leadership led by Madam.

Problem with us is we always try to divert the issue. Discussion is on Sibal's malpracitces so why to drag in this discussion BJP issue. Raise that issue separately. We people are not going to beenfit with this type of approach. Its best for politicians. Lets focus the discussion on Kapil Sibal

Re: Re: Re: techie

This policy first come first serve started by Promod Mahajan ( BJP ). They sat and eat benefits. Now atleast it came to light.
Do recall the same guy had said that the loss of 1.76 lac crore to exchequer was only 'notional' and hence the people are making issue out of a non-issue. Now he writes off Rs.600 crore which ought to have come to exchequer as penalty. The S.C. should have ordered for an enquiry by CBI, as we know the Govt. of India, will not order one, as they will be mired by another SCAM. Government for the scam, by the scam and of the scam!

Re: This is not related to 2G
by V SR on Jul 11, 2011 08:37 PM
2G or anything. SC should not have said that Kapil may be right or wrong. Right or wrong, need to be investigated. At least SC should have ordered a CBI enquiry into the matter rather than simply rejecting the appeal.
