Hyderabad Bangalore... 550 KM super expressway. I drove this distance in 6 hours... another friend of mine driving an Audi did it in 4.45 hours flat. How can they miss that.
Hyderabad to Vizag super express way is getting inaugurated in October 2012... 590 KMS.
Ahmedabad-Baroda-Surat Expressway is not shown here.
Only Ahmedabad - Baroda is more than 90 Km Baroda - Surat is more than 100 Km.
I don`t understand what kind of data is published here.
They are showing an expressway of 9 Km :):):):)
Bihar also has much better expressway then elevated expressway of bangalore. Which is not all an expressway but a narrow bypass road. Approach roads are laughable, those roads are only for minting money at the expens of the bystanders.
the image shown as Noida-Greater Noida Expressway os wrong. it is actually a picture of DND flyway which is a bridge over yamuna connecting delhi with Noida, hardly 20 km long!
BY 20022 the nation should have above 3000 KMS of express highway. The estimation is so because the coruption with the concerned MINISTER/Chief engineer/Superitendent engineer/Excutive engineer/Asst engineer/estimater/bill processor/AND contractor alliance with the political leaders.
The durgapur expressway would have been grt if it actually was connecting durgapur without breakup.instead there is a 4 km stretch called panagarh where this 6 lane road becomes a one hand a half lane farce with huge potholes and there are huge logjams which consume the same time which u have saved by travelling on the six lane

Really Panagarh has become a gangrin in this excellent road. For long we are listening that road will be widened here and bypass will be made. But where is that. Now people are avoiding using this road in fear of jam in Panagarh and again started using Railway means. Stretch of Budbud to Dankuni is better mentained and in condition than Asansol- Budbud stretch with number of iregular potholes-Pradip Majumdar
In Tamilnadu the so called express ways are built to make the road side agriculture lands to be converted to real estate and people have become crazy to make housing plots with not not even 2m clearence .no sooner these roads are going to be congested with shops and houses making the situation worse than prsent.
We require express igh way right from Kanya Kumari to Kashmir. All Indian yemples should pass on their donations to Government for this high way for the next five years as this high way will help connect many important temples of India through feeder express ways. No mention has been made of Yamuna and Ganga Express ways and Delhi-DDN expressways which are under construction and parts of them have been completed. They may also be brought on net.

First let us cut the alms that's given to the minority religions. Then we can think of taking from the temples.

Why? Aren't Indian employees paying enough direct and indirect taxes already, majority of it goes in maintaining the White Ambassador car and bureaucrats lifestyle.
Did you know that Indian government is the biggest tax collector of the world. Unfortunately all the money is mismanaged and wasted.
Except Mubai Pune all Express ways are below 20 kM. How will it help in reducing travell time and traffic. It is just a show off. Its a Tragedy in India that first buildings are build and then it is thought how to build the roads. Govt and builders do not bother about infrastructure. The bother about selling item that is flats/ offices etc. In foreign countries first Roads and streets are built and then permission is given for construction. So this will go on like this and India will develop at the snail speed. Why to Hurry?
