It is a hype
by sirisha k on Feb 01, 2011 08:15 AM  | Hide replies

These days many articles were circulating in news papers about Gujarat.
Many reasons are there for development of Gujarat

1) Since entire north India is landlocked, the region is depending on Gujarat for ports.

2)Since labour unrest is minimal, industrialists are investing.

3) Regarding power sector, Unit rates in Gujarat is highest. No state in India is charging that much rate.

4) Basically many industrialists in India are from Gujarat. So they are investing in Kutch area. And also land rates cheap.

I don't think due to one person State is developing. Compared with Modi, Orissa chief minister working style is good.

Can you tell why does labour unrest is less in Gujarat? And crime against industries and investors too is very less in Gujarat. Despite of high electricity rates can you explain what makes Gujarat more industry friendly. Its not hype but its ground reality that Gujarat has far better governance than many Indian states.

Yes becoz GUjarat is based on Hindutwa society...If more states go in HINDUISM way, more it will flourish...The more a state is going for MULLA party, more it will go bankrupt...EG states like UP-Bihar-Bangal-JK etc...full of Mullas in these states...

Haha, the above said points make Gujarat a great place for rampant corruption to exist because of monetary benefits. And yet it is unlike Karnataka (where BJP exists but there is rampant corruption) and that is because of one person Modi

Brother, the leftist press will never be able to reconcile to this idea. It is better that Modi, although deserving and would do a great job at the national level, stays in Guajrat and develops our blessed land.

about why gujrat is developing.

Most of them would find a reason in 'good people of gujrat' totally blind to the fact that its ultimatly governance that sets the ball rolling not the people alone,
