First Increase the price to unaffordable level.
by Rajesh Kumar on Jan 11, 2011 11:13 AM  | Hide replies

First these idiots increase the price at un-affordable level then cry letter. In the process of earning little extra money, they make everyone increase their price (from labour to materials).

Now they are crying.

Any two bedroom flat more than 5 lakh is not worth.

Let these people die.

We will have next generation better one.

role of media
by gopalakrishnan viswanathan on Jan 11, 2011 11:08 AM  | Hide replies

Meida(both print and visual) also play a big role in creating Hype around property prices. Nowadays, they are devoting a lot of time and space for highlighting these ( bloated) prices and we the gullible public believe that it is actually so. Now whose purpose are they serving by this? The prices used to be more realistic when there was no media invasion in the property segment. Comments please.

Stories are written by builders. Logic calls that real estate bubble will burst. Why not all the realty companies publish their balance sheet. We will know what will happen from now.

And the Real estate Agents. They are the Major force now to reckon with. The rates quoted by these middle men are exhorbitant compared to the actual cost. We 'MUST' discourage buying homes/houses through these vagabonds.

I myself a real estate agent, I advice my clients to bargain for 15 % direct discount from builders before purchase .

Bargain is a must, its not the agents but investors who are responsible for the high prices today

Mr. Sastry, Please dont take it personally. I have personally gone through this experience many a times. The agents sit on the house like vultures, trying to grab every opportunity to make even a bit of extra money from a deal. Anyway, it was not anything persona, it was a common platform to express views.
