Vibrant Gujarat

Our beloved Congress couple of days ago proved that the progress in Gujarath is nothing compared to the crores & crores of scam involving 2G, CWG, etc. Obviously this is a paid news. I am waiting for sibal to debunk the Gujarat myth..

India's Problems...
by sarang mehta on Jan 10, 2011 12:31 PM  | Hide replies

Our country's problems are various...on demographic, socio-economic and political levels.
It makes one wonder if we, as a country, are mature and ready enough to have democracy as a form of governance. What is required is a controlled form of democracy.
The leaders have to ensure that the country is put way ahead of their own power play and dirty vote bank politics. This is what Modi has achieved in gujarat.
Nitish Kumar, to an extent, has done this in Bihar too. So, they have shown that it can be done. what is needed is a strong will to do it.
On the other hand, states like Maharashtra are being sold out to unscrupulous companies that want to make huge money in the name of infrastructure upgradation of the state, yet, there re no perceivable changes on the ground level. The money is squandered due to lack of political will and vision. Mumbai, being the highest tax contributor to exchequer, is grossly ignored w.r.t. facilities and the quality of life is dismal. Is the Mumbai public being taken for granted by the state and central leaders?
About time we give the reins to a real Man like Modi.

PROGRESS OF MUSLIMS IN GUJARAT
by Guest on Jan 10, 2011 12:28 PM  | Hide replies

Sick people are envying the progress of Gujarat because they are not doing well in their States. Our Muslims are happy in Gujrat and are well progressing than other parts of Gujarat. Even Sonia and Pakistan can take lesson from Gujarat. And stop talking of well being of Muslims.

Well said, brother!
It makes us feel that the current rulers are trying to take the focus away from crucial developmental issues by talking of minority development. Best part, they are not able to justify any development (either for majority or minority). On other hand, so-called right wing ruler of Gujarat has been able to ensure more inclusive and overall growth for the state. He is doing something right. Maharashtra leaders have so much to learn. Over the decades, the state has let its leading cities slip into a quagmire of unsustainable development at the cost of infrastructural progress. Why couldn't the previous governments even initiate the feasibility studies for underground or over-ground railways etc. for a city like Mumbai. What were the jokers waiting for to commission projects like the metro. Ideally, since they have started so late, they could have flagged off all phases together.

this is based on facts collected by the finance ministry of UPA goverment. Ask them.

UPA goverment gave best governance award to Gujarat for last 5 years. United nations gave number of awards to Guj. Are all these paid by Modi ?
