I am fortunate to have got opportunity to meet Dr. Krishna Ella severla times. Being a professional I have got opportunity to meet some of very successful enterpreuners and business personalities. One thing I have felt from my heart and from my experience in life that getting success is always an achievement but maintaing your generousity, humanity, hospitality and kindness in your behaviour even when you are successful, is something which generally evaporates when one becomes successful. What Dr. Ella has achieved is commendable but even more commendable is his genuinity, generousity and down to earth attitute which not only makes him a great scientist and great enterpreneur but also A GREAT HUMAN BEING. We all should learn from him that not only how to achieve your goals in life inspite of all obstacles but how to REMAIN A GREAT HUMAN BEING even when you are on top. My heartiest contragulations to Dr. Ella for his achivements and I wish Dr. Ella has a lot more in his kitty for society and humanity. Afzal Hasan
Whenever i hear bharat ratna award for soem one , i always loof forward his name .Govt need to understand totally his contribution in making this a knowledge revolution . Being a pharma person , i can understand the difficulty of a scientist to become u business acumen . Here he has created cluster by advicing chandra babu naidu and naidu has listened to his great requests . Can we belive this happens in Tamilnadu or UP OR KARNATKA . Let us pray for him fro getting bharta ratna award . Biocon known in govt for their enlarged media contacts ,and hence kiran getting lot of awards .Ofcourse she is also one of the gems . But this scientist is unique without getting any support from bsuiness tycons .
Persons like Dr Krishna M Ella have given a new name to India: the so called "Emergent Economic Country". We need such persons not only for knowledge base building but also for showing a direction to country in the form of entrepreneurship. Persons like him have a clear cut vision for India. They are the one who would bring back academic and educational glory back to India which was there with it since the inception of civilization. Their efforts would definitely bring in better lifestyle for common man which would eventually grow up to pick the right person who can lead for them.

I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor to serve poor people as they do not have the financial capacities to prevent or treat the disease but I was not fortunate enough. After completing my Msc in Virology from National Institute of Virology, Pune a premier virus research laboratory in India under aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research. Dr.Ella has given me a chance to work in Bharat Biotech International Limited. I feel that I am serving my country by contributing and strengthening Dr. Ella's vision of cheap, effective and appropriate vaccines make available to those who need them.
