Are these figures correct or misguidance
by Maximum on Feb 25, 2011 06:02 PM

No
instead of comparing if energy was spent in correcting things inflation would have been curbed

Millions of tons of food is rotten in govt godowns and at another end people are hungry
do you need to compare with other nations
Idiotic article to misguide

We don't want any duplicate figs on inflation, we want income over expenditure, if things are not good, we have to make a strike or ultimely topple the govt. and get presidential rule.

Our privileged bunch wants to go out and earn in dollars, come back and spend as little as Rs 10 per kg potato and live as long as they can. That is why more than common man, our privileged bunches are more worried about common man and complain about price rises.

so what's wrong in it? Just coz they bring a handfull of dollars, doesn't mean they can shell out at will. Even if they get in bulk, it is either invested or deposited in indian soil! Its gain for the nation. Irrespective of spenders, food inflation need to be kept well within common man's affordance. This article is misguiding many details, There are many smaller countries like singapore where inflation didn't affect much. The Onions and tomatoes were indeed cheaper in Singapore last couple of months...
