No hike in passenger fares; freight rates

Anyone can explain me,
How Railway is going? When each and every things price is hike? Why Railway is not increase fare since last 8yrs? It may be at an lowest, Like on Rs.100 Fare, Railway can increase Rs.0.50/1 atleast. Its not heavy for passenger. What you think? ANYONE CAN EXPLAIN ME? PLS..

True that Railway is running at a loss.
Air India's loss accumulated to astronomical figures & Govt. dole out money for its survival & no hue & cry by people; is it beacause the air travel is meant for rich privilaged people. Majority of 2nd category CATTLE CLASS people have no means of distance travel other than Indian Railways. Astronomical amount (Crores) of money is siphoned off during purchase of Stores & Materials for Railways by seniormost Babus, as disclosed by reasearch conducted by a distinguished English daily newspaper from Kolkata/Delhi/Bhuvaneshar. Stoppage of this leakage will result in profitability of our Railways. Everybody shedes tear for not raising railway fare & undermine Railway Minister but how is that nobody even provide any hint for this massive mishandling of Railway resources - is it because that this is again being done by very rich priviiaged Railway employees. Please give chance to poor Indians to travel at low railway fares when price of their every consumeables are very high.

OK MADAM, THERE IS NO HIKE IN PSG RATE OR FRT RATE OK GOOD, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TELL ONE THING - WHATEVER NEW TRAINS OR ROUTE YOU ARE GOING TO INTRODUCING IN BUDGET, TRY TO IMPLEMENT IN THAT YEAR ONLY, EVERY DAY CEMENT RATE, STEEL RATE, LABOUR RATES ARE INCREASING, WHEN YOU ARE PROJECTED RS.500 CRORES AT THE TIME OF IMPLEMENTATION IT WILL BECOME RS.1500 CRORES, SO FOLLOW THE STRICT IMPLEMENTATION.

Need for improved Rail Services

Mamta should also think about people living outside Bengal. She is Railway Minister for India not for Bengal.Improved rail service is the need for the hour.Public Transport should be improved to such a extent that people should prefer to take train/bus instead of their own cars. It will help to reduce oil bill & pollution and traffic congestion.

their is only one differnce between third class Ac and sleeper class and i.e is deodtrant.

passengers are more, but trains are very less, specially during festivals and holidays, wl passengers will be more than having seat passengers, railways should start more trains in busy routes...
