This is wonderful article, bringing out the importance of life after death, in a subtle way. Kudos to Dr. Shroff for his pioneering work as well as affirming that he is an Indian. As a follow-up to this, I request Rediff to bring out details on organ donation, the do's and don'ts so that people will get more clarity on this important topic.

It is good to see someone working for a good cause. I have just read in today's TOI article that 152 people (brain-dead) from Tamilnadu had donated their organs. Most of the hearts have not been transplanted and was wasted due to the high costs of the heart transplant surgeries. Governments should subsidize the equipment costs (atleast the lifesaving equipments) and help the hospitals to bring down the surgery costs, which will benefit the poor & middle class patients.
This indeed is the greatest service to humanity.While on one side we have only run for money doctors and on the other side such true representatives of God also.
