Remember that the people who are buying are the ones who are paying not the one who are commenting.. So one who buys decides whats value for money.understandablt the altos(inc K10), i10s wagonr are leading as these have all the basics needed in a car and those who need a bit more luxury go for swift or i20. Even ppl who can afford more goes for value for money as we see more innovas and boleros are sold than the polos and puntos who boast of loads of feature.. true different segments but still point ie even ppl who can sped more than cost of these european cars are not actually buying them just boadtiing abt them...

Hatchback -There are variouus choice at various price categories now.At 4L price,new WagonR is best choice,superbly remodified-interior,exterior,engine,size,shape. If budget is 4.75L ,go for i10 Kappa.And if budget is 5.5L,then Swift is best choice.

5.5l i20 is a better choice compared to Swift.... At 4L i10 is better than Wagon-R.. below 4L Spark is a smart choice

Guys , your are missing one major point , this is only top 20 hottest selling cars .
yes Figo does about 2700 - 3000 , and Spark does about 2000 in a month , but they are out of top 20 , and also Beat has been constantly grabbing Spark sales atleast in urben centers , also please keep in mid one thimg , most of you are still seeing sales in urben centers , but there is lots of sales goes on in Rural places also , and Maruthi has good network and name in these places , which others are slowly establishing , thats why you are seeing more of Suzuki cars ,

Sorry. Your data is wrong. Ford Figo Jan''11 sales figure is 8616 and its rank is 7th. My data source is same as what is refered in this article. Please check out the latest (Jan'11) sales figures posted by me in my previous posting.
