Mr.Mallya,
Please go back to selling beverages which you did very well. We the beer guzzlers can not subsidise your "hawai" operation.
After couple of bad experience I do not even order King Fisher beer.

Performance with Purpose

The latest "P" in Marketing Strategy astutely conceived and practiced by the 'Pepsi Cola' with success is the new marketing "Mantra" capable of delivering at any time, anywhere, and for any 'SECTOR' of Business - and that is "PERFORMANCE WITH PURPOSE".

This has been emphasised with marcato precision and cleverly articulated by a majority of passengers/customers in a simple small survey done (a couple of months ago by me) as also gleaning from the opinions in this very posting(s).

There is no substitute for GOOD PERFORMANCE and that is reflected in Customer Satisfaction and this is simply what transformed "IndiGO" airlines. It may sound obvious, but particularly in sectors where the dictum "Customer is the King" is deeply entrenched one can only afford to discard the obvious at one's peril.

This is the main "timber" around which the business is built with all others (like capacity addition, food, extended operations & blah.. blah,,blah) being the "supporting timbers" in the quest for profitability/durability of a business. The main 'timber' should at no point in time be allowed to collapse/derail.

Yes. You are right!
In Indigo even the seats are very spacious when compared to KF airlines and even the spice was good.

Food how much it costs? That too in domestic travel..
I think we cannot select an airline based on food.

Indigo v/s king fisher

Indigo is indeed a better aircraft tahn KF, not only for low cost but also for upkeep of the flight timings. Recently when I was in Bangalore Airport waiting for Indigo flit to Pune, the TV displaying the departure of flights was flashing that two of KF flights(one to TVM and one to Hyd) were cancelled. The only thing I felt missing in Indigo flight is that the flight does not serve tea or coffee during the flight.

KF ONLY SHOW OFF
by Gulab on Feb 11, 2011 03:29 PM

The more attractive the air hostesses, plane, the inside offerings, the more punishment to your pocket.

More than that, KF is just a show off to the public like mallya does to his "picks" and has nothing raising up to them!

on time? Never
by amar deo on Feb 11, 2011 03:20 PM

As long a Kingfisher cannot understand the meaning of flying planes on time - they are going to slip even below Air India. % star but always 5 hours behinf schedule - that should be their new ad!

Mr. Mallya's personal guests
by Manoj Dev on Feb 11, 2011 03:19 PM  | Hide replies

Years on Kingfisher passengers are being compulsorily treated to "I have instructed .. as my personal guests at my home ..". May be Mr. Mallya has become poor (relatively speaking) or he has changed his food habits - the food in Kingfisher flights are not just what used to be.
And the 'personal guests' have to be always ready to be a paying guest somewhere, if the Kingfisher is not able to deliver them to the destination that day.

In recent time Food quality & it's presentation has detoriated. Another reason is that when you book many flights of KF you land up travelling it's low cost sister Deccan renamed as KF
