Nira Radia tapes dented reputation
by THANKACHAN SKARIA on Feb 11, 2011 12:39 PM  | Hide replies

I am of the opinion that you are still one of the best trusted groups in the world. But like every businessmen your group has been engaged in unethical/illegal activities to amass wealth time and again. Nira Radia tapes also dented your image in the eyes of common man. Please do something like a makeover to improve your image. You can follow Marayana Murthy, Premji etc. to redeem your image by contributing largely to charity.

TATAS - Still a Respected Group
by kumar kn on Feb 11, 2011 12:34 PM  | Hide replies

The TATAs are still a respected group.
JRD had laid a solid foundation and the group still continues to live by his ethical standards and commands universal respect. India can be proud of the group.

TATAs have never tried to cut corners unlike many others especially Dhirubhai Ambani. In the process it has sacrificed growth in many sectors because it did not want to deal with corrupt politicians and bureaurcrats.

The recent Nira Radia tapes have to some extent damaged the reputation of Rattan Tata.

Politicians have made the whole system so bad that doing business ethically has become difficult and that is why foreigners find China more attractive than India.

Today if you don't play by politicians dirty rules, you cannot do any business. Even in this corrupted environment, the TATA Companies still command respect.Rattan Tata is one of the good Industrialists we have.

Tata Concern is breeding with Nepotism and Favourism.
Only Bengalis and South Indians get to the top or even get an opportunity to make an entry.
If one wants to check the ground reality, he should simply see their employee master roll to see how Nepotism is brewing hard and high across Verticals.

First of all, curb the growth of Car growth explosion on road. Creating a lot of pollution besides traffic jam.
Frame policies againgst the use of Car owners who utilise public road for themselves.
Four Wheelers on road causing enough distress to pedestrians.Sorry to say, our govt sees problem with 2 wheelers but not with four wheelers. A cycle can not be parked onthe roadside, but a car can easily encroach the public space. No traffic police will dare to challenge this.
What a drama in the name of Green Revolution

Mr. Tata we know you are very clean and bath regularly and maintain proper hygine. But as far as your businessman image is concerned, no businessman in india is clean. Business means cheating others so tell me how you are clean? Rules, regulations, laws are for common people and for businessmans, rich people, neta's their relatives there different law in actual.

the best days of TATA were when JRD was at helm,no doubt it has grown since JRD but the integrity which was there in TATA firms during JRD is long gone, now it is just any other company.JRD was just GREAT.
