Rampant growth of GUJ - mindless n careless
by Fiona Lobo on Feb 11, 2011 08:39 PM  | Hide replies

Ahmedabad n gujarat development is just to divert attention of people. To achieve rampant growth of city, communal violence provides good excuse. Whts obvious in Gujarat is the new wave of hindutva is tryin to mimick progress of west and thts obvious when we see the kind of projects being implemented and the enormous pace at which the shape of city getting changed ... No one have an idea whats going to happen if these massive changes are made with such urgency. When we see the growth of Ahmedabad city, it looks like typical western city. Everywhere concretized, lavish light arrangements, huge glass-plated buildings and enormous corporate activity.

The very IDEA of CITY is against NATURE. The rampant and careless expansions of so called DEVELOPMENT is now extended to beautiful villages and in the process destroy them completely. This is not the way to develop. There must be better way to improve. Many major cities are now getting and feeling the problems. Gujarat will feel those problems soon.

If you visit other states and compare you would appreciate Guj and Modi. Also, you M are thoroughly brain washed to accept the truth and appreciate the work done by a leader like him! Closed minds, that is what one can say ..

Con Party
by AlphaQLanka on Feb 11, 2011 08:39 PM

Con Party Congies didn't like this man becuase, how dare, he always speaks truth. Now he has praised a hindutva leader which might be very bad for corrupt Congies. I salute you Sir. You should have ruled this country for 20 years at least to take care of the younger generation. But, unfortunately, good people are not allowed to rule this country.

Come the Revolution
by Chris on Feb 11, 2011 08:37 PM  | Hide replies

Come the People's Revolution in India, Modi will be PM, and Kalam will be President of India.

The only troubling thing about Kalam's tenure as President, was when Kalam authorized the hanging in Kolkata of the convict Dhananjay, for his crime of murder of a school-girl, but showed no such eagerness to process the death-sentence of Parliament-bomber Afzal Guru.

After his tenure, Kalam explained that the Kangress Government deliberately prevented the Afzal-Guru case-file from ever reaching the President' office. Knowing the way that the Kangress functions, this is certainly beleivable, that the Kangress deliberately stone-walled and prevented he case-fiuled from ever reaching Kalam's office.
