Rajasthan minister sacked for calling President a 'cook
by Sandy on Feb 11, 2011 12:13 AM  | Hide replies

Rajasthan's minister of state for Panchayati Raj and Waqf Amin Khan has said that Pratibha Patil could become the President of India because she cooked food and washed dishes for former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

"The President (Patil) would cook in her (Gandhi) kitchen and wash utensils when she was out of power after losing the 1977 elections," Khan said, addressing a meeting of district Congress committee at Manpura-Bhakhari village in Pali district on Tuesday evening.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sacked state Panchayati Raj Minister Amin Khan over unsavoury comments made against President Pratibha Patil.

May be speaking truth in congress party might be an offence as the Sacked Minister found out.May be one day Mr Amin Khan will tell how Manmohan Singh became PM.

After submitting the resignation,Mr AMIN,has got nothing to loose,in that case if he further disclose the factors, responsible for making Manmohan Singh, prime minister, neither Mr Gahlot nor anybody can do any thing,it is expected from Mr Amin that he should educate the citizens by providing such a vital information. This will be an obligation on the the citizens of the country.

Through investigation in 2G scam
by PG on Feb 10, 2011 07:39 PM  | Hide replies

It can only happen if Congress is thrown out and a new (non-Congress) government takes charge.

Let's have elections ASAP. There is every chance that Congress will loose now.
