Master servant combine

When there is a cabinet approval of the deal, how can Mr.Nair be charge sheeted? None can be charge sheeted. If the whole matter be brought to the Appex Court, they (Court) may have to use the terms -does the Cabinet Ministers are just signing machines?
As per the recent judgement of the Supreme Court all ministers can be prosecuted if it is proved that anyone in the ISRO connived with the corrupts to sign the deal. What a pity?
There is no use in finding fault with the scientists. The government machinery, at present is running just like a master-servant combine. It should be changed. The MASTER should listen to the servant and without prejudice to the national interest take decisions. The pity is that the masters take decisions in the interest of foreign nations. It is natural that the servant oblige to the masters and their mind also will work in the interest of foreign nations.

Here is a hint about a conspiracy in govt. The whole scientific community is in a confused state. Can we progress without joint effort from the scientists? Already huge number of scientists are vanishing to greener world every year. As soon as they come out of the university first choice is to work for a good grade in the GRE. Immediately they migrate to another nation. Does the govt has a statistics of this exodus?

Reference to an agreement reached in 2005 between Antrix Corporation Ltd.(ISRO) and Devas Multimedia Private Ltd. Devas Multimedia is a company in which Deutsche Telekom is a minority equity stakeholder. The Bangalore-based Devas start-up, founded in 2004, is headed by Dr. M.G. Chandrasekhar, former Scientific Secretary at ISRO. He was earlier Managing Director of the satellite radio company WorldSpace, which shut shop in India. In 2008, Deutsche Telekom picked up 17 per cent stake in Devas for about $75 million. Columbia Capital and Telcom Ventures are the other international investors. The board of directors includes Kiran Karnik, a former President of Nasscom; Larry Babio, a former vice-chairman of Verizon, and Gary Parsons, a former Chairman of XM Sirius.

Nair is liar
by Varsha on Jan 31, 2012 04:50 PM

2. ISRO should be abandoned, enough of pride and we can smartly outsource our work and get them done very cheaply.

3. What are the outcome of Chandrayan, Mr. Nair ? He has no answer b’cos it was a flop, some thing achieved by Chandrayan is known to only John Hopkins University, for which ISRO has no access !!

4. Govt. has found prime-facie evidence that Nair had mislead many agencies to allot spectrum to his pvt. friend and minted money. This scam is several million dollar one.

5. Madhavan Nair’s family and relatives income/assets should be probed b’cos Nair wore 4 hats namely, Space Commissioner, ISRO Chief, Scientific Advisor and as Director (Satellite Communication) and finally awarded the contract to ex-ISRO employees and friends of himself. There were no autioning/advertisement. There is more muck than what is allegded.

6. Finally the nail has fallen on Madhavan Nair’s coffin, Kerala govt should be ashamed to stand by corrupt person like Nair.

7. I urge GOI and Radhakrishnan to work towards closure of ISRO, which is ONLY a trademark of pride with full of gas in it.

8. John Hopkins University and NASA had jointly put their moon probe on Chandrayan, ISRO had no access to data from the probe !

9. Probe crash landed onto moon surface in Nov2008, John Hopkins University & NASA came to know the water content on Moon in Nov2008 itself. ISRO had no clue about it

ENOUGH OF SO CALLED PRIDE, LET CORRUPT BE TREATED CORUPT, BE IT POLITICIAN BE IT

Pay adequate compensation to Devas in accordance with law and then do whatever you like; otherwise, Devas has to apply for ad interim stay of the order annulling the legal and valid agreement.

ISRO- Deal and cabinet nod.
by Soundararajan R on Feb 10, 2011 10:14 PM

The Hon'ble Supreme Court should now take a suo moto notice and initiate action on all these directly connected with the deal in every stage unmindful of the advice given by the tainted PM the otherday in the seminar/ conference on Reforms. IF the President is really a nonpartisan President acknowledging responsibility to protect the people and the constitution, she should straight away dismiss this government and bring everything into order under a Governing Council of people of impeccable quality. Will she do it?
