Liar Mamata

Generally politicians tell lie whether they are in right or left parties. It is their nature. But Mamata Banerjee is such kind of leader who can go to extreme point to tell lie.Her main agenda is to throw out CPM from Bengal in coming assembly election and definitely nothing wrong is there. But for that she is giving vague idea, false, absurd promises to people which just she can’t deliver.Forcible acquisition is one of them. She is telling she is against forcible acquisition of land, but she is using Railway Land Acquisition Act 2008.Generally state Governments acquire land for railways by 1894 land acquisition bill.Perliament passed new bill in 2008 so that in rare cases if genuinely needed railway can acquire land in emergency basis by this new law, otherwise they have to get land through respective state Govt. by 1894 law.In this 2008 law landowners can’t do much if they are unwilling, but to give up their land, they have to surrender their land at any cost.Interestingly, our beloved railway minister is acquiring land in Bengal with this new law in places like Furfura Sharif and other places. She is telling people that you give land in one hand and get railway job in another hand.People are happy, they are ready to give land. But when notification comes in the newspaper there is no written clause about giving job.People ask written letter from railway officers in the spot about job and officers are not giving. How is it possible? Just utopian promises t

PM shoudl take action against Mamata
by joydip bhattacharya on Feb 07, 2011 12:57 PM  | Hide replies

If action is taken agaisnt Raja for looting country's money then action should be taken agains Mamata also for looting Railways Money and sending them to Bengal for teh sake of some Project .. all are these for her personal; gian to become CM...Personal gain in any format by cash or increasing your power is a crime ...all the Projects should have socio economic justification before deciding the place..Railway could have saved money if those would have setup in different locations.....

If you want development-stray cases of mad and prejudiced people are to be tackled, they can not be tackled in Mamtas way. Industry is the only answer of Indias big chunk population, under compusion, 50% more man power is employed in agriculture.

Neither TMC or CPIM leadership had the vision to setup landbank gradually to keep pace with Industrialization. It's the advisory committes which comesup with a vision and the good administrators implement it.

The people of bengal should have replaced CPIM atleast 20 years back. But it didn't happen for multiple reaasons like not having a proper opposition for decades, bengalis went into the confort zone after going through the trauma of partition and also the carnage that cpim cadres take up with common people when facing with adverse situation. CPIM in their 34 year of rule brought bengal almost at the brink of collapse. Bengal is the highest in current account deficit. Whoever comes in power next time is going to have tough time.

TMC, in their whimsical best couple of times did the harakiri of abandoning trade-partner just before the election which sends wrong signal to people. Also running away from job(resignation of railway ministership) showed the weak nature of the character. TMC got a huge chance to show the people of bengal what they had to offer at the helm of bengal by taking some some visionary action-plans as railway minister in terms of building infrastructure that can carry high-speed trains, comfortable coaches, extra paid services to generate revenues. But it seems they are miles away from delivering expected results. We have been reading news that railway is close to bankrupt due to constant populist measures and the leadership failed to take proper

Due to Mamata's pro poor stand, forcible land aquisition by mafias has been stopped all over india.
The union govet has to make a lot of changes in new land qauisition laws whereby farmers shall get adequate compensation, atleast 70% of land has to be bought by private companies to buy from retail land holders at near market price price. This will replace forcible land aquisition by act of 1894 which encourages land mafias with the help of state govt like cpm.
She has given new ray of hope to people of Dadri,Srikakulam and everywhere where agricultural land were grabbed earlier at free price.

Please go to Bengal to check what she is doing for railway. What Buddha, Naveen, Modi or whoever are doing she is doing same thing for railway. And I am sure if she come to power in Bengal she will be doing what CPM is doing. She is Woman In the Musk.

She has kept her promises. She has announced atleast 16 projects in bengal and a few more outisde West bengal but never in the last one and a half year,Railways took land focibly.Acually for industrialisation, its not just "trade secret"..what one requires is vision with which a lanp bank and land map is required. In the past 34 years, this worthless CPM Govt could not prepare a land bank or land map and now after Mamata started work on land map and land bank, this Govt is follwing her path.

Sadly she has been working as a Minister of Railways for West bengal. It is a kown fact that she has her eys set on th CM Chair of WB. Since she became Railway Minister, hardly any plan or prgramme of much worth is announced for rest of India. Why are so many projects coming only in WB? Are other states incapable? Yes, they are incapable of putting Mamta in the CM Chair of WB!!!

Yes, I think I have solid ans for this. Why manta doing mostly for Bengal, yes you are right, to remove CPIM from WB.For Rest of India Rail project focused earler rail minister in 35yrs. WB govt faild to bring any project from Central Govt. in 35yrs, reason last 35 yrs center was captured by other state MPs.They did not think about WB because WB MPs never went for form Centeral Govt. You can not blame only WB Govt. its a negelagency by Center too.Still they are neglecting NE states.Hopin in next MP election some one from NE state will get Rail and other top 3 ministers. This is Indian Political Culture created by JN.
