The One your are talking about is called corporate banking. Their only purpose of trade is making profits through interest, which is prohibited in Islam. Only if Your so called banks were operating on moral grounds we would have seen a lot less farmer suicides.

Kerala has first indian mosque and now first islamic bank .I think islamic banks will share teh profit and the profit is better than the interest given by other banks. Hope they will not create popular front's and Madanis..
