Jeewish toorah

If thou lend money to any of My people, even to the poor with thee, thou shalt not be to him as a creditor; neither shall ye lay upon him interest. Exodus, 22 : 25

In xxtianitty

Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother: interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of any thing that is lent upon interest. Deeeeuter 23 : 20

In Isslam

Under Sharia Islamic law, making money from money, such as charging interest, is usury and therefore not permitted.Wealth should be generated only through legitimate trade and investment in assets. But investment in companies involved with alcohol, gambling, tobacco and pornography is strictly off limits. Even in the final sermon this was highlited.

The One your are talking about is called corporate banking. Their only purpose of trade is making profits through interest, which is prohibited in Islam.
Only if Your so called banks were operating on moral grounds we would have seen a lot less farmer suicides.

Usury (in the original sense of any interest) was at times denounced by a number of religious leaders and philosophers in the ancient world

For example, Cato in his De Re Rustica said:

"And what do you think of usury?" — "What do you think of murder?"
