History repeating
by Satyesh Vaniawala on Feb 04, 2011 11:40 AM

History repeats itself. Shall we be experiencing another "emergency" situation in India? Similar was the position in early and mid 1970s, when Mrs. Indira Gandhi was unable to control inflation, which subsequently lead Mrs. Gandhi to declare "emergency" in the country, which stayed for 3 years, and ultimately threw Mrs. Gandhi out of power. Congress definitely believes in repeating this history, because today, the infaltion is so high that even the upper middle-class people are experiencing difficulties to make both their ends meet. So the plight of lower middle-class and lower middle class people of India is really worst upto to unimagineable extent

Robbers
by Satyesh Vaniawala on Feb 04, 2011 11:29 AM

This government is making mockery of the people who have given them votes. The govenment has the tagline of "Ek hath se do chaar hath se lo". Directly, our government gives benefits to people, while indirectly, it robs the same people of four times more of what it has given directly. eg. FD rates increased, so people will earn more interest on their FDs, but on the other side, cost of everything has been increased four to five times more than the increased interest. So ultimately, people are losing more even after earning more interest on their deposits.

by Manas Deybiswas on Feb 04, 2011 11:23 AM

Finance Minister may kindly see that in this financial year, Post Office MIS Interest must be increased from 8% to 9% in general and Sr.citizen to 10% including 10% bonus instead of 5% bonus. After retirement in the age of 58-60 yrs, all oldage persons in India are getting trouble in this price hike including medical because cost is more high. Please save all the oldage persons in your budget.
