Biggest Threat : Corruption
by abhishek sharma on Feb 02, 2011 04:33 PM

Corruption poses the biggest threat to the union of India. The reason is simple:

An average Indian does not constitute a nation but is merely an individual. His personal well-being overrides all other considerations including the national interests. Over the period of time this practice has emerged as a nexus between POLITICIANS, BUREAUCRATS, INDUSTRIALISTS and even the MEDIA ; which has shaken the faith of the common man in the system.

Said the truth
by ASA C on Feb 02, 2011 03:58 PM

Rahulji has said- all the truth. This can be eliminated by changing the existing laws.Legislation improved, corruption in India will be down 75%. 25% are created by real crooks. Legislation should consider the aspiration of people, give room to perform and excel in life and it should be prompt and fast thus people will not loose life time, and also will not indulge in bribing.

Bajaj also paid money to NCP/Shiv sena to get votes for his Rajya Sabha seat.
Bajaj is responsible for scuttling Japanese bikes technology b'cos he sees threat to his own company, as a law maker he is not allowing better technology on bikes to come to India.
Bajaj group of companies all work like frauds, many auto drivers have committed suicide after taking loan from Bajaj finserve.
Bajaj himself should lecture his group of companies before blaming politicians

Right, all these industrialists posing as national heros try to keep themselves in the limelight by blaming politicians for corruption. At the same time, they would be paying kickbacks to the politicians to get policies favorable to them. Last week, we had the Wipro head giving a lecture on corruption.

Forget about the $1.4 trillion black money in Swiss banks.
85% people in India do not have any bank a/c.
Hence 85% economy runs on black money within India.

Rahulji's tirade against politicians
by suresh kumar on Feb 02, 2011 03:14 PM

Well said Rahulji, especially when you know what happens in Parliament. But what about the huge mamoth amounts that business tycoons take as loans from Public sector banks, never return it, and advise the Govt. to write it off? Is it not a day light robbery of nations wealth? As the politicians are hand in gloves with business houses, parliament is dumb and deaf on such issues!! No wonder, business houses send a representative to both houses of parliament!!

Black Money Fubnds Political Parties
by Sankar Mitra on Feb 02, 2011 03:13 PM

No private sector company can secure any business from government or government owned companies without bribes and that is the main source of black money. This is paid as a percentage of the contract amount and the quantum of percentage is fixed by the authorities in advance. Leaders of Congress, BJP, CPM and all other political parties know this. When the contract amount is large running into hundreds of crores, substantial amount of the bribe goes to the political parties in power. No doubt that top leaders like MMS, Sonia Gandhi, Naren Modi, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya are above corruption individually - but many other leaders are not.
BJP's big tamasha about black money, Swiss Bank accounts etc is the height of hypocrisy and is meant to get votes. Indian public today is not that gullible. If corruption. black money etc are to be routed out, then the only way is that all parties should meet together, accept the realities with an open heart and then only next atep can be taken.
