It seems to me you have only seen the tourist part of USA, reality is different and painful.
India is 1000 times better in bringing up children.
It is the grownup part that needs some thought.

Astounding transformation in the field of Education marking a new wave is taking off.
It is a portend to that. Its origin, however, is in the partnership b/w CONCORD CONSORTIUM in Concord, Massachusettes & HUDSON PUBLIC SCHOOLS in 1996 to create Virtual High School (VHS) projects.

Yes, this will obliterate boundaries b/w schools just as Globalisation made the geographic boundaries of countries disappear in terms of trade/business. Fruits are manifold. We are coming a long way from the correspondence courses & traditional set ups.

Flexibility - online education will be a big draw for students specially with heavy extra-curricular commitments.
Rural-Urban connect can be enhanced and schools can accommodate geographically far flung population, something whicn can prove a boon to our community. We can easily patch the holes in our academic line-up riddled with the problems of teacher shortage; large infrastructure; transportation that go with traditional schools.
Students will feel free to express online which is bound to shine a light on talents that go unnoticed in traditional schools - the biggest impact making boon in our context. We have come a long way from (a) slate & chalk; (b) paper & pencil/pen; (c) computers & word, print out; and now (d) a paradigm shift in the WAY education will be structured & organised.
Bound to be the biggest innovation with its effects percolat5ing across sectors, economi
