Air India should start charging politicians and govt officials who travel free.... otherwise it will never be profitable....
It was an excellent decision by Air India at that time to modernize their fleet, which I still feel will really help them in the long term. However, managing the fleet, the staff, understanding the pricing model, getting a good corportae deal going, have an attractive frequent flyer regime, have been bad and I blame the UPA government for it. Honestly speaking, they have ruined a lot of things in their second tenure.
