America boasting of freedom of speech and expression has chosen to cast aspersions on S&P when it was caught with its pants down so much so that it has questioned the credibility of S&P!The Americans had to tighten their belts twice with in a decade due to crash of economy which has cast aside the camouflage revealing their original economic status to the world which they could not digest! A fitting reply to the American hegemony!
when laloo went USA ,journalist and industrialist suggested him "Bihar is a fertile land with immense cheap man power and water ,sorrounded by Mines and Port (calcutta) if u allow us will turn it into second America"
Lalu replied promptly " Give me America and i will turn it into Bihar"
Is anyone talking about whats happening down here. Even if America sneezes, all of us run for cover while even if the house burns back home, we tend to view them as normal and keep moving.
Rediff, please focus on whats wrong with the situation back home and have someone analyze and write useful articles. While the US situation may have implications back home for some sections of the society, that may not quite help put off the fires raging the houses in India.

When the Private and Govt US Bonds had AAA rating for the past 97 years, all the western credit rating Agencies were doing a fine job. At that time most of Emeging Economies were at the receiving from these rating agencies and there was glee on American faces giving sermons to others.
Now when the US is at the receiving end after enjoying enough profligacy, they have started questioning the very agency that was once giving full marks to US economic mamagement, and trying to seek moral support from Emerging Economies to find fault with rating agency.
