ONE OF THE REASON BEHIND INFLATION AND LOW GROWTH
by udayraj on Aug 17, 2011 09:28 PM

Allowing organised retail in India is the biggest mistake ever done by PM and FM. Large corporations like reliance group and International retail chain like Wall Mart are now spearheading their heads in the country. Any issue is taken into considerations of both advantages and disadvantages alike. What is the benefits of organised retail in INDIA is a silly question, it gives larger corporations and multinationals an opportunity to harass ‘aam admi’ and make him more poor and poor and generate themselves a lot of money at the cost of ‘aam admi’ and only at the rate of 0.6% to 1.8% net profit on total sales, when there are other businesses in existance which can generate them more revenues. The disadvantage is that the persons employed in retail approximately 4 crores of shopowners and 10-12 crores of their employees will register with employment exchanges in future as nonvacant candidates. The another disadvantage is that about farmers. They now get better prices from multinationals than current retailers, but when the current retailers will disappear from screen, these multinationals unite themselves and suppress for cost reduction. In detail, salary in the case of employees of organised retail and farmers in the case of their produce.

Lot of questions having one answer i.e. WILLPOWER!!!
by udayraj on Aug 17, 2011 09:21 PM  | Hide replies

(1) Why should not excise and customs duty abolished on petroleum products prices? Excise and customs duty on oil products may be abolished in systematic way over a period of time in parts. Hike of petroleum products’ prices is unjustifiable.

(2) Why should not all property of temples, churches, mosques, etc. of India been nationalized? And that should have to came under the Reserve Bank of INDIA’S scanner!!!!!!!!!!! Nationalised property of all temples may come under the RBI scanner and not under Govt. of Manmohan scanner; note down!!!!!!!!!!!

(3) Why the black money is kept in Swiss Banks? Why that had not brought back to INDIA even without declaring names?

Lot of questions having one answer i.e. willpower!!!

Are you cuckoo. Temple, church and mosque be nationalized. The government should never interfere in religion. Whichever temple thats in government control should be release to devotees.

i don't trust any india company. there is no accountability, the indian stock exchange one of worst. If the company make 10crores profit, they will show 1crores profit to market.

once india become clean, big company will enter India and access huge market
and loot country in legal way. Elimination of corruption mean red carpet to western company. These company use just 10% of human resource to do job. In fact, in supermarket, you can check out (paying bill) without any casher. use automated machine to calculate bill and pay without any help.

check comsec, bell, etrade, CMC, stockbroker service. You can check up to date info any time and also use BOT for trading.

India is growing at the rate of 8% per annum.

So,2011-2020,total 10 years,so

2012: 1.08 of 1.7 = 1.83 trillion
2013: 1.08 of 1.83 = 1.98 trillion
2014: 1.08 of 1.98 = 2.14 trillion
2015: 1.08 of 2.14 = 2.31 trillion
2016: 1.08 of 2.31 = 2.49 trillion
2017: 1.08 of 2.49 = 2.69 trillion
2018 : 1.08 of 2.69 =2.91 trillion
2019 : 1.08 of 2.91 = 3.14 trillion
2020 : 1.08 of 3.14 = 3.39 trillion

Assuming uniform growth,no war,no calamity,no disaster,no economic crisis,etc,India will be 3.40 trillion economy.

If and only if Anna Jee's New govt is able to bring back all money from foreign accounts(approx 1.5 trillion) and put corrupt leaders in jail in Andaman,India will be able to touch a figure of 3.4 plus 1.5 = 4.9 or 5 trillion economy.

Another case study,

China is growing at the rate of 9.5%,their present GDP is 5.87 trillion,

So,in 2012 :1.095 of 5.87 = 6.42 trillion
2013 : 1.095 of 6.42 = 7.03 trillion
2014 : 1.095 of 7.03 = 7.70 trillion
2015 : 1.095 of 7.70 = 8.43 trillion
2016 : 1.095 of 8.43 = 9.24 trillion
2017 : 1.095 of 9.24 = 10.11 trillion
2018 : 1.095 of 10.11= 11.07 trillion
2019 : 1.095 of 11.07= 12.13 trillion
2020 : 1.095 of 12.13 = 13.28 trillion

So,under uniform growth rate,no war,no calamity,no disaster,etc China's economy will be 13.28 trillion by 2020...

Foot note: by 2020,in normal circumstances,India will take over China in population. Both countries will have approx population of 1.5 billion..

So,1.5 billion Indians will have 3.4 trillion economy

and

1.5 billion Chinese will have 13.28 trillion economy.

Above data currency in US Dollars...

why don't you give the statistics in terms of percapita income which speaks about the life standard of people. US dollar statistics give a false picture, for example no one in USA gets a cofeer for less than 90 RS and it is 10 rs in India.

when research predict 5.6trillion by 2020, why are you saying 3.39 trillion?

300% growth in next 10 year will be great achievement.

corruption can correct only .5-1% and will not make huge difference to GDP.

I don't really care GDP because it is useless. More population more GDP, but not result high standard life style. India need 50 years to meet western life style for every citizen

What is the basis of this research?

Again,It is not at all more people more GDP.

USA 0.31 billion population,14.65 trillion GDP

China 1.33 billion population,5.87 trillion GDP

Japan 0.12 billion population,5.45 trillion GDP

Germany 0.08 billion population,3.31 trillion GDP

etc,etc..

Reason, US use 35% of natural resource in world and their technology are far advanced, where India is still lagging because we open our market just 20 years ago.

India has big scope to grow because of more young population. That doesn't mean it will reduce poverty in country. It will remain same because population growth at 17% a year kill quality of life style and maintain same amount of poor people in country despite growth.

Biggest problem in India today is over population than corruption! Corruption won't kill people but population beyond sustainable growth will kill more people in future. Nature will take care of human mess on its own

Biggest problem is illiteracy.40 crores population still illiterate. It is more than the combined population of africa and europe. If more and more people are literate, they will realise the benefits of small families and they will also learn the importance of using contraceptive.Yes there should be uniform civil code as well to control population.

If corruption is dealt with iron hand, all development projects will move fast. So,what is the harm if common people stand against corruption? Why you want to make the issue small? Do you have vested interest or black money in foreign accounts? Just a question,no donot be angry man !

i agree with lack of education, i wrote many times that over population, lack of education and corruption are root cause of 90% indian problem.

yes corruption to go, but not in one shot. it will destabilize country both politically and economically.

no FDI will invest in country where government is not stable.

the corruption is so much, if you take strong action on each and every politician and official, all state and central government will collapse in 2 years and it will take 5-10 years to achieve stability.

the reason again india is corrupt to core, and people still elect corrupt people to rule.

lokpal is not preventive measure, it will work after all mess was done.

dear friend you have given little erronious figure at the base it is 1.729 trillion US$ and not 1.7, if you calculate with this figure it comes to be 3.7337 trillion US$ in 2020, and not 3.39. In case of China you are very sincere to give the exact figure.

Need a change completely by young generations
by Merwyn Mendonca on Aug 17, 2011 07:27 PM  | Hide replies

Spitting on the street, throwing waste paper or any waste just outside or on the road this is in the Indian culture. Men urinating just outside. The root cause is most of the people were poor in olden days they developed these habits and they used live in a very small house and they had habit of doing all these. So it is continuing for the generations. Tidiness is not in there in our culture. But there are exceptions and I am not saying everyone. Its most of them.
Solution is implementing strict discipline from home. Compulsory training in the school for children at grass root level. Municipality level and panchayat level. Strict fines on those societies which keeps everything in mess. Big fines on those who do not maintain the water lines. Fines on those shit on the streets. Fines on those who urinate outside. Fines on those who spit on the roads. Yes fines are there only on the boards. We need to implement those. So that we can make a clean and better India. People from outside India call India as a big toilet. Why ?? Because of these reasons. Change is required at all level.
