Completely crap articles without any facts
by jainendra bhagat on Oct 05, 2011 02:20 PM

Seems rediff doesn't believe in facts or cross verification before publishing such articles.

This list is totally wrong specially with the figures for wedding expenses.

is rediff sure about the list???
by Mahesh Desai on May 02, 2011 02:49 AM

the bottom 5 of the list seem to be around 2 million dollars, which as I understand should be around 9 crores as per current exchange rate. Now arnt most of the high profile Indian weddings more costly than this. I read every other day that some business tycoon invited a dozen celebrities to dance at the wedding. So wouldn this kinda wedding run a bill of more than $2 mil. Just m estimation, what do you guys think?

No one spends on weddings than the average indian family. YOu have to look at the cost of wedding as a percentage of savings. No one in the world goes broke arranging a wedding for their daughters except indians. Indians are the greediest race. the loudest and the most vulgar race of all

The estimated cost was between 80 million pound (150 plus million dollars).

In an effort to fan passions of people, rediff is hyping up the numbers.

Bad journalism...
