It is proven again and again that India is the most safest country on earth on a normal living conditions - after all, we all work for living and what is the use where there is only work and no living? Its good to make our own rules here than following the west's..

safst place to live ? the last time I was there there were people driving like animals on the road honking and no respect for pedestrian lights or signals , people beat up some stall guy from the up , some people were agitating sitting on roads, people were spittin any where on the streets , disgusting only a reject wud leave the west to go back

Indians are coming back from USA because they don't have job security there because unemployment rate in USA is above 10%. And in India Job market is booming.

In India also unemployment rate is around 10% similar to US. Please see the datea and tell. Wanted to come back. But I hate that dirty smelling streets. People shitting on the road. Chi chi chi. U will never find these thing anywhere.
Not very impressive number. But it is a welcome trend. In fact, nehru established IITs with an eye to supply cheap labour to industrialised countries. Gradually, people realised that it is better to be with 'own people'.

How did rediff/auther get these numbers by counting number of passangers on flights from US to India? Asking each if they are entrepreneurs. By the way is "entrepreneurs" profession one can write in the fill in the box question what is your profession? well or every person having money to start new business id an "entrepreneurs". Well I have 1000 Rs to start vegetable stall in fron of Gate way of India ..!! ho ho ho ...
Those who migrated back to INDIA are either gone MAD or must have lost their jobs. Who and for what reason someone might migrate back to worthless country like INDIA where there's poverty, corruption, deceases and Dust everywhere with pathetic living conditions worst than an animal can ever live on this beautiful planet.

Poverty, corruption, deceases, dust - all these affects commonman/poor people. Those who are coming back to India from US is rich people and will not affect these. There are many billionaires in India and they are living in India only. If you have money then no problem.
Well whats wrong in migrating to US. I am middle class person, My father had to strugle to give proper education to me. Certainly for living Money is required.
In India, I used to earn and never saved a penny.. Here in US, I save. For common man that makes the difference. People comment in such a manner as if they really love India to Heart.
because many bought house in US and they are under water. Those people can not leave their life saving and return to India. You will see 2nd wave of migration from US to India once US housing recovers.
Well in US whole life goes in arranging Papers, there is no quality of life, than really serious problem is if you are not from South India, you are in trouble, reason is wherever you will go, hiring managers are from Andhra or Chennai, the people from these regions cook fake resume, are pretty powerful and if you say something they will play one trick or another, OK somehow you pay $4500 from your pocket to get H1 from New Jersey based shop, than what, there is no end to your problems, 90% companies in US want GC or Citizen these days, so you will stay in room in some apartment which these companies call guest house, share it with 20 other people, will get project for 5-8 months somewhere and than look for new assignment, also you loose money in leases at different places, please note that in Companies South Indians will form groups and they won't help anybody outside there region. Also saving is not more than $1000 to $1500 for someone who gets contracts on consistent basis. Be ready for huge exploitation since one new jersey will give resume to other South Indian who in turn will give it to other , than it goes to prime vendor, all these people will eat money till you work. You will spend money from your own pocket for interview, Note these South Indians have put people with Magic Jack connections in Hyderabad, Chennai and they will keep calling you from India, ask you to attend interview, you loose all money whatever little you save, also understand American culture

Do you mean, all the northindian people are SAINTs? come on man, dont throw rubbish to the neighbours when your own backyard is full of shits. Just go around every state and in North India and come to every state of South India; you will notice the difference. I dont need to explain the reality of North Indian states and its people bcoz its there all to see. Stop barking at the south indian people. NOne of the northern states are in good conditions , thanks to your own people who dont want to learn good things, who dont want to change their attitude towards development. Stop barking.

I think you are one of these losers who couldnt get an entry in any company and venting it out here.
First understand that cooking fake resume is existing all over India and faking and corruption is a prt and parcel of your life. So dont blame it on the southies. 2nd, paying money for the H1 and complaining is about bribing someone and crying about corruption.
Also, our culture is where everything happens wihtout any problems and only that everything is hidden where as in the west, they have the guts to show their real faces in public. After all, the first stop point of any Indian in the west is a stripclub and not a temple. So, dont ridicule other cultures.
More than anything, it is ones hardwork and persistence that pays than a sneaky way of finding loopholes and passing through that.
FYI, I jus came at the peak of recession and yes, I was hunting for job for around 15 days, found a 1 mth project initialy and then found a long term one. I too had an apprehension initially and was wondering if I have taken a right decision (FYI ... I wasnt a loser in India, I came to USA to gain a different experience after working in India for good 11 years and a 18 lakh pa pay check). Also, I had to start from the scratch. So what? I acheived what I wanted to. 'Cos some one loses or succeeds, they dont have all the rights to talk as if they know everything and dont become a mouth piece of the whole group.

little bit, Americans are not loyal to there own relations , forget about yourself, they end up with cats and dogs, South Indians are also somewhat like them with no good attitude towards anybody else, Also understand one thing, only full time employee who works inside some company for alteast few years becomes good with IT systems, since you are independent consultant , you will keep roaming and in the end you won't get command on one thing. So life in whole is very difficult, so if you have some career or good business idea stay in India, marry in India and respect India and try to solve problems to attain quality of life in India. I learned these lessons after wasting my whole life in name of American dreams so want to tell reality to coming generation.

Most of the time I oppose when people compare anything saying 'north Indians' or 'south Indians', but in this case what you have mentioned is completely true. Not only in US, those groups exist in most IT companies in South India. Mallu group, Tamil group etc. If you are not part of any of these groups, you are screwed; you will work hard, smart and someone else, from those groups, will get all credits and incentives. This is bitter but true.

Migration is an a continous one, all animals, birds and human beings will change their place for want of comfort and etc., there is no alarming in migration.
