As usual an article with bloated up numbers. The article itself says that a 1 Acre property was bought in Amrita Shergill for 137 crores and then it quotes 400 crores as the price for 10000 sqft property (total crap). Just because there is an advertisement on an online site does not mean that the rates is the same as that. 400 crores for a 10k sq.ft property means 400000 / sq.ft that is the costliest anywhere in the world, which makes it look absurd.
Those who have limited sun exposure are at risk for abnormally ow levels of vitamin D, as are people who do not consume dietary sources of vitamin D, particularly in combination with low sun exposure. Human milk and most infant formulas have only very low levels of vitamin D. However, exposure to the sun is not recommended as a source of vitamin D for infants and children due to the long-term risks of skin cancer.
There we go again...people live in houses that are valued 400 crores. And there are stories of untold misery / poverty just 50 miles away from these bungalows.
In India atleast 85% of wealth rests with less than 15% of the people (aka elite group). So one wonders how any economic policy can be drafted that matters to all? Which segment would they focus on? The wealthy 15% or the the measly 85%? The policies suitable for the 15% (i.e. 85% wealth) will not help the people at large and the policies designed to help the masses have no economic significance (like reducing fiscal deficit etc) since only 15% of country's wealth is influenced by these. unfortunately the disparity is increasing with time and no solution towards equitable distribution of the wealth seems to present itself in the near future. Rich gets richer and poor either stays same or gets poorer.
Hopefully, something sane will come out from the "gurus" very soon before the situation gets out of hand.

Exactly!!! tax of whose brows? Business in India thrives only if you are corrupt and indulge in lot of corruption...Most of these business men are successful not becos of their business models or their acumen to get more clients. They've grown for only one reason, they know the corrupt system well and they are by nature corrupt. As Dhirubhai Ambani send once, name one politician who has not gone to bed with me!!!

@lol i agree with you completely. i think the real reason for this disparity is the 1991 liberalisation.the economic policies of the country changed all of a sudden,we had been following socialistic policies for over 4 decades and the sudden change benefited only the rich.lakhs of farmers hv commited suicide for the past 10 yrs and political parties are indulging in blame game neglecting the root cause.

@vipin u r rite!!!!even i am stunned at the amounts being paid to the people of the film word.film industry is a loss industry and loses hundreds of crores every year with vast majority of films becoming flops.the amount of money that is lost in a flop film is enough to change the lives of thousands of poor people.the worst part is the money they earn through endorsements .etc.i dont think anyone will buy a product just bcoz their fav film star endorses it.the govt should keep a tab on film budgets and the money these celebs earn.
