India

Obama is a courageoous President. He understands the problems and does not hesitate to speak his mind as distinct from the so called leaders in this country with the exception of Subramanian Swamy.John Galbraith called Indian democracy, a functioning anarchy. It is not just the leaders to be blamed for this state of affairs. We are an irresponsible lot.Having known very well that some of the leaders are incompetent and corrupt, we elect them repeatedly. We do not hesitate to encourage corruption. We misuse the facilities. The roads are not properly maintained. We do not take objection. We misuse the roads and footpaths. We park our cars on the roads leaving little room for the traffic. We do not care for the traffic laws. We overtake from the left and right. We honk our horns loudly when there is no need for it scaring the pedestrians, handicapped and poor cyclists. Buses block the small roads which should be prohibited for them. Auto rickshaw drivers do not observe any rules and would go to the place of their choice and if your destination happens to be the same, you are lucky. They are also unscrupulous as they would demand double the fare without any rhyme or reason and helpless commuters who won't spare a rupee for the temple or the temple beggar, would be compelled to pay to the auto driver because of the necessity. The fellow inside the bus would spit without caring to know that the contents would fall on the head of someone. Roadsides are used as urinals.

Pride
by Ram Singh on Apr 23, 2011 04:06 AM

We feel a great sense of pride when someone tells us that. But in what ways are we rising ? Rising prices of everything ? Rising corruption ? Politicians and their goons looting in thousands of crores ? Rising family members of politicians ? Rising poverty ( who cares about the poor anyway ), rising crime ( even Bombay is not a safe place anymore )?

China is losing its edge before reaching the top!
by Ravi on Apr 23, 2011 03:15 AM

HNI (High Networth Individuals with more than 100 million Yuan) Chinese are leaving China with their wealth and immigrating to other countries (27% already left and 47% are in different stages of preparation) . This drain of riches is has tipped the scale to an extent that it has already lost all the FDIs it got till date.

Healthcare in India
by Sanjiv Acharya on Apr 23, 2011 12:35 AM  | Hide replies

I tend to agree with Obama's comment about quality healthcare. My uncle was misdiagnosed for almost 10 years by the best doctors in Mumbai. We took him to K.E.M., Jaslok, best specialists and no one could figure out. Finally after 10 years a Cardiologist from NIH (National Institutes of Health) in US diagnosed his condition within 2 visits.

Recently Wipro got Malbari CEO, definitely he will make wipro share prices equal to the price of Toilet tissue papers.

Wipro owner is holding 90% of the share himself including Framji Foundation, SEBI WARNS SUCH COMPANIES.
SEBI says its kind of Securities and Exchange SCAM, which wipro is doing.

Wipro ties-up with Lavasa Land Scam & Dehli Airport !!!

Wipro has invest around Rs 100-crore (Rs 1.0 billion) in infrastructure and other value-added services in Lavasa city, the first of its kind venture in the world.

Fremji has supported his son in rape & marriage of BJP girl in mumbai. Premji Purchased 600 Acres of Land in bangalore from BJP by bribing billions of dollar.

BJP has got Hindutva agenda ?
MNS want to throw poor ousider ?

Give any secular answer that Premji belongs to Burma or bangaladesh, so MNS has daring to trow out premji & his family from the Mumbai.

Is BJP has daring to ask him why he has supported his son in rape & marriage of BJP girl in mumbai ??

Fremji's second son also was in rape case with Manisha koirala, any way she married to nepali.

Fremji's Vipro is like Municipality, they have only Testing projects & Netwrongking projects, in the history so far they delivered Billions of Failed Projects in the GULF countries alone.

Wipro is king of delivering failed projects to Gulf Countries.

In wipro its legal to deliver failed Projects & bill to Customer.

Fremji is getting Projects by spy Gulf Countries for Iran.
