Satyam Computer Auditors - PwC. Everybody know what happened to Satyam. Nobody believe in PWC survey report
How many employees get paid at Rs.4.8 lac per annum.? On what basis and in which industry has this survey been? many empoloyees hardly earn about Rs.1 lac per annum. How did the figure of Rs. 6 lac per emplooyee profit emerge? Which company gets this. Many companies especially many samall scale companies can hardly meet their expenses and barely make money to meet their interest on borrowings. This artcile by rediff supposedly given from PWC has ABSOLUTE NO BASE. this is meant to mislead the masses and create a gap between employees and employers. Seems like a conspiracy,to undermine the indian economy. The team involved in this survey should be asked to present the basis of their findings in public or else SHD BE CRIMINALLY PROSECUTED.. Readers, please beware of the troublemakers in the Indian economy and society..

very true... either it is a well thought out conspiracy or else it reveals the pure incompetence of PWC and its ilk

I agree with you. But I am a Sr citizen, who was asked to go in 2005. At the age of 56, they did not pay me my due. But I was called back, and I am still working at meagre salary, with the anticipation of me retirement, looking looking them cooly looting the company, and having 1000's of criminal cases, and also running the show. If not company's directors do earn directly and indirectly, and loot employees of their basic amenities

It is paid news sponsored by either PMO office of our self proclaimed PM Puppet Singh or Corrupt Congress Party to make people fool. The percentage of people getting Rs 4.8 Lakh salary is less than 1 % in India. Private sector in India is the most unorganized sector in India. It works on one principal, exploit work force as much as you can. The ruling party Congress collects its own share from businessman and give them freedom to loot the work force and consumers

Yes. You are correct. Infact rediff should not publish such data without any details. ---Prof.VPG

quite right . Most of the tax payers money are distributed among the govt.of Ind. employees who are not worth it . It is a open loot of tax payer's money . These report will only show how the PWC is working . Their only motive seems to indulge in such non sense reports which is totally misleading . such reports should be made public and from publishing in the media .

U are right not all get this 4.8 package..so above article is only Rediff fiction
one must really appreciate the Indian companies for giving generous salaries in proportion to productivity. In fact, companies need to look for improvement from 1.79 to at least 2.0 so as to survive high costs of today.
If PWC is allowed to amke survey on govt employees,we all would surprised that most of the employees are getting huge amount of salary for no reason. After the blind implementation of the pay commission ,there is no yard stick in govt organisation to measure the caliber of its employees.Blame it on politicians who is looting our nation with the help of so called govt employees who is incompetent, incapable, consistent under performer.People of India should realize this and elect their political leaders. In this front,Jayalalitha is very bold & she has the political will power to do the mission possible.

Thats why Jayalalitha lost all 30 Loksabha seats in the immediate next elections. A leader cant work like a dictator in a democratic set up. He has to be the leader of mass. Again its not true that all politicians are corrupt and all corporate people are saints. It depends on the individual. An individual is corrupt whether he is in Government sector or private sector or in public service. As far as Government employees are concerned, its been a fashion in India to criticize Government employees. If you think we are earning huge amount of salary, instead of complaining you can take the competetive exams and get selected. Then would one realise the kind of effort that's required to get selection.

Yaa...we know how many gets selected based on the performance in the competitive exams.Infact, the seeds are sown for corruption even before taking up the job by bribing the concerned people to get into it and then extracting the same from others laters.

IAS posts and Group C posts are entirely free from corruption. Only in case of Group B posts, corruption still persists, that too in interview stage.

I pity your knowledge on this topic,Look at the public sector giants like ONGC,BHEL,NTPC and their profits.Dont speak with incomplete knowledge.By the way i work for ONGC and take pride in doing it.
Re: Re: Re: Take survey on Govt employees

Everybody knows, ONGC pays hopelessly high salaries.. The end result is the ever increasing fuel prices, which the common has to bear the burden of.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Take survey on Govt employees
by Prashanth Shetty on Apr 19, 2011 05:26 PM
Sell these Companies to private sector, they will fuel for free!!!!!! Lets remember one thing, if Government earns profit, it is meant for the public. Some portion of it might go to wrong hands, but profit earned by private sector is entirely private property of the owners. Lets not worry if Government earns profit. If we do we are causing harm to ourselves

BUll shit....How many competitors u have for the so called giants u are barking about. Privitize all the sectors and see where u stand. Also keep in mind that u people are not inventing any thing new but selling the natural resources to the people with hired technologies of abroad nations.
Re: Re: Re: Take survey on Govt employees
by king kong on Apr 19, 2011 04:47 PM
The likes of ONGC is selling off natural resources in a monopoly or near monopoly environment. Any fool can do that and still make a profit. Open up the oil sector to real time competition and see ONGC, IOC and all other Cs tumbling down like a house of cards

there is less competition from pvt companies in all the areas of work in which ONGC, NTPC and BHEL are involved...
