Long live Baba Ramdev ji...
by mukesh dayal on Apr 15, 2011 10:51 AM

we fully support Baba Ramdev in his campaign for Swadeshi..
Let us not oppose MNCs but provide better alternatives in Ayurveda.. we dont want be like some fundamentalist terrorists who without any logic says I am the best, my religion is the best and others should obey us otherwise we will kill you for example TALIBAN and similar org. be it any religion..
bring better quality and technology and win the race.. that should be the spirit,,.. so lets not spread hatred but good things that we have either inherited from our ancestors or some innovative companies/ individuals.

Today baba ji is opposing MNCs. Dont forget that 20 years ago it was MNCs who started the economic growth and professional job creation in india. before it only govt job full of union baazi and nasty work ethics was everywhere. Just like british build road, rail and common english language and united india. (for selfish reason ofcourse). similarly MNCs brought system, model and hightech in india. we should be greatful to them. because of them we have so many indian company now bcomeing MNCs. Yes i do agree BABA JI should promote ayurvedic food and drink. but condemn multinaional company. they do lot of good things to fulfill our need also. they earn some profit thats true. but thats way they operate all over world. dont tell baba Ramdev ji will sell ayurvedic products free in america.

Bihari Babu, After introduction of globalization policy any body can state business any where in this world. But, our bloody politicians are encouraging MNCs to buy our Indian companies and making Indian as laborers. If they want to establish their companies, they can start here. But, our govt. should not allow them to buy our companies.
If it continues, one fine day all of us become dependents to MNCs. 50%of Biharis are migrated all over India to get jobs. Don't forget that.

Babaji is not fully against MNCs. He is pro healthy habits and against bad habits. Babaji says dont drink pepsi and coke, and dont eat chips as these are unhealthy, rather babaji promotes healthy drinks and healthy food no matter who makes it.
He is also against corruption in general in public life.

Thanks,
amit

You are talking about jobs created by MNCs, do you know how many have LOST their livelihood because of the same MNCs? All the handicrafts, local vegetable vendors, small grocery shops, small icecream vendors, all have lost their entire livelihood because of MNCs. Dont talk as if MNCs are saviours who come here to do charity, they are charging us exorbitant prices for otherwise cheap items which has made the poor even basic things unaffordable. Cost of watching a movie was reasonable before multiplxes came, now the lower middle class has very little options of watching a movie in a theatre. Look at the price rise because of the huge pay difference between those workign in MNC and those not. All the top quality fresh fruits and vegetables, spices, grains in teh country are purchased by MNCs for packaging and selling, which the poor cant afford and they are left with low quality stuff. There is shortage of drinking water in the metros, and on the other hand MNCs are digging up bores and consuming drinking water to manufacture soft drinks and sell our own water at 40-50 Rupees per liter, while manufacturing cost of a softdrink bottle doesnt go beyond Rs3.

Nothing comes for free, but look at the price. Ramdev is selling it for Rs 5, and the same drink with artificial preservatives is sold by MNCs at Rs 30 here.

Do not know whether it is 'slaves, seculars and corrupts' who alone drink from coca cola and pepsi cola bottles/cans by the million each day in India !

But, Baba Ramdev would do much better if he directly castigates the millions of India's stupid middle class commoners who currently sustain the growth momentum of the two giant beverage MNCs, even when these MNCs are stagnating all across the rest of the world !!

Ramdev is not helping his cause by seeking to appease these stupid middle classes by avoiding direct criticism of the habit of drinking colas !!

Piri, what's so stupid and criminal about consuming moderate amounts of a soft drink, provided you earn enough to be able to afford it? :)

Except for dangerous substances like say tobacco (cigarettes, chewing etc.) & narcotics, I wonder if there is anything, which in moderation, is really harmful in the long run. Infact, the Japanese & Greeks, who eat an interesting mix of food, including all kinds of fatty food & lots of wine, both live longer than most other people, including, Americans and also look a lot better than shrivelled up mummies jogging around, that are apparently the new epitome of health.

Mr.Confused. Read the entire article. He is not selling pepsi or cola, which are harmful to the health. Herbal juices that packs are swadeshi and only for the package he is tying with tetra pack. What is wrong in it? There are people like you who drink that cola/pepsi (literally 'toilet cleaner') and be happy about it.

Boss. Apply a little bit of your mind. Tetra Pak is the best packaging available to preserve food. Can you name a swadeshi alternative??

dont act sissy man!

Dont confuse Swadeshi with mulla fanaticism. Swadeshi is all about consuming whats available locally and in a healthy form. Tetra pack can provide the best healthy packaging to store healthy drinks without the need of artificial preservatives and so whats wrong in using it.

Otherwise, Indians should stop using computers (because west invented it) and west should stop using mathematics (because Indians invented both zero and place value system)
