petrol price in my city is 78 rs . . .certainly my country has nothing to do with a common man expenses. . they just need a swiz bank account and money on cost of common man's blood!. .
Whol let this guy write this article. How can he simply convert the current in INR and say that in India petrol is cheaper.
Did he consider.. PPP(Purchasing Power Parity) Did he consider the minimum wages in those countries.. Did he consider the per Capita income of India and those contries.
How could you ??? We are not fools you congis-in-disguise
By purposely comparing prices of nations with expensive oil vs. oil prices in India, without comparing their per capita income, the author is trying to pacify gullible readers / public that the whole world is facing similar problems. At the same time, the author pretends to be fair, by mentioning the absolute low prices of fuel in Saudia & Venezuela, knowing well most Indians don't care about these countries and know that they are oil producing countries.
The sad thing is that these type of propoganada actually work with many people. A lot of common people I meet, are convinced that food inflation is a global phenomenon. Hence if food is expensive in a rich desert like Saudia / UAE, a super rich land like EU or a Techno Paradise like Japan (which is a small island unsuitable for agriculture), then somehow it is OK if food is expensive in a large, agricultural country like India, full of poor people.
