Indian team started campaign with FOUR and end with SIX in final. But performance was not world class in league matches. Only quarter final match was stunning while in semi-final/final match win by luck because opposite team drop so many catches which help India to lift the world cup.

do u know anything about competency. as long as one is performing there is no need of retiring and if young Muslims/Christians/Anglo-Indians/Sikhs/BC/SC/ST cricket players as per you have guts than they have to work hard/perform and secure their place. they should not beg saching (most consistent and performing ) player to retire. from ur comments seems u r from minority and u r suffering from inferiority complex.

Whether we like it or not, people do get affected if any famous person endorses a brand. But most of these nuts endorse things not good for health like pepsi, coke, etc. Very few are like Gopinath who refused to endorse soft drinks, saying that kids should drink milk and fruit juices and not soft drinks.
