Expensive ! No Doubt,,,,
by Bhoot Pret on Apr 07, 2011 01:06 PM  | Hide replies

No doubt, the cost is way too high. But again, as the phrase goes, 'Sarvendriyanaam Nayanam Pradhanam" which means of all the sensory organs eyes are most important, maybe we shouldn't mind the cost, if the glasses are worth it.

And rediff should've gone that extra mile in providing information about how to acquire them, in India

Work on PCs? Here're new glasses to save your eyes

Pity India does not care about its people,
In UK and Europe these glasses are provided by the employers to their staff through opticians.
Every employee who sped more then 30mins on a P.C is eligible for a pair.
All costs paid for by the government through employers.
And if one leaves the company then one do not need to return them.
They are yours for ever.
for every other special needs of the employee the employer is responsible under health and safety at work act.
Which is taken very seriously.
Pity India and Indian employers do not care.

Hi,
I had a sort of CVS and started looking for solution over net as an OPT could not provide much solutions other than Artifical tears. These Gunner-Optics Glasses came to my rescue. I am using them for last one year. Some friends of mine got the help immediately after I recommended them.
Try them out. We got them from Amazon.
