Ever since the China's macroeconomic numbers were published this past weekend, fund managers from the developed economies started buying into the emerging markets and especially the BRIC markets. FII numbers for the last two days speaks for themselves. Individual investors in US and other developed economies are buying the ETFs. Almost all the ETFs are invested into the index stocks, and that's the reason the main indexes are moving.
There is only a limit for FIIs to buy into this market, set by RBI. Also they are are allowed to invest into few 100 companies. Soon they are going to run out of the steam as the index stocks are already overpriced.
There is lot of value still left in the midcap stocks with P/E multiples as low as 5 times and dividends yield of 2-3% and growing at a rate of 25% and above.
