1) Why such money is deposited in this bank ?
2) why not other bank do so ?
3) if most of the money is from not legal sources ,it means that bank is responsible & backing all illigal activities around world.
4) top most priority sould be given to it to elevate poor class.

Easy Solution- but no one is willing
by chinki on Sep 18, 2010 01:26 AM  | Hide replies

Check the flight details of the politician going abroad, as previously one can't transfer huge amount through internet. And then its out open to everybody, but the policy makers are the culprit, so either civil dis obedience should take place or army should take control, till then it would be always undercover to save their own ass.

black money.

As long as the government tries to find out black money and punish the people, who posses it,nothing can come out. They should give some incentives to bring the money, back into investment.Every black money holder should pay only 5% of his hoarding as tax and can invest up to 50 crores in Industries, not in stock markets. No details will be asked,Similarly in order to bring foreign exchange tucked away in Swiss banks in to India, again an incentive of 5% tax charges for every 50 crores of foreign exchange brought in.this should be maximum amount an individual can bring in an year.Excess money in market may heat up the economy.Alternatively Tthe RBI or Government it self should have a bank to receive all such remittances of foreign exchange,on a neutral country.and utilize that money for purchase or import of Defence euipment, and import of certain industrial machinary, and fast moving consumer goods and electronic goods. This is the only way of briging black money.

How can anyone expect such a policy to unearth blackmoney since every politician and bureaucrat in India has crores of rupees as black money including Gandhi family consiting of Sopniaji ( who was used to receive rupees one crore each day from the ex chief miniser of Maharashtra Vilasrao. Everyone know including Swiss Ministers that at least 70% of foreign money lying in swiss banks is Indian Money.

Black money

Apart from checking the illegal outflow of funds the Govt can :
a) announce an one time amnesty to the hoarders to bring back the money- anonymously with no questions asked.
b) make serious effort to discover the names of the hoarders in case they ignore the amnesty.
c) punish the guilty irrespective of their position or status when discivered
d)Reduce Income/Corporate taxes to such levels that disposable incomes increase and there is no incentive to send money overseas.
e)Sign agreements with all tax havens to disclose, confidentially, all significant transactions.
These are idealistic solutions which crooks will not like and will do their best to prevent. After all how can the corrupt justify the money illegally received?
It is a sad indictment of the world and society we live in where wealth takes precedence over morals and ethics. The Government, judging from the crorepati MPs in its ranks, is itself corrupt and there is no moral giant in politics these days to correct the venal system!Where are all the Gandhijis; Lal Bahadur Shastris;JP Narayans,Guljarilal Nandas,Sardar Patels when we need them most?

Understand and accept reality
by David Rex on Sep 15, 2010 07:05 AM  | Hide replies

You Indians need to understand that since, we control the EVMs, we not only have full right to appoint your rulers, but also have the right to expect that our appointed rulers will work hard to fulfill their annual tax obligations to us.

We must receive at least US $500 billion each year, otherwise the incompetent rulers will be removed by our EVMs and our Media.

The sooner you Indians accept this reality, the better it will be for your health.
