it needs a change.There should be a formula to calculate the price of the land. say 10% should be paid at first year. then every year another 10% of that year price After 10 yrs another calculation should be done and 50% should be that price
Govt takes land forcibly and pays registration value. Agriculture land is on average 80% under valued. So govt must have paid only 1/5th of what the farmers deserved at that time.
The real-estate developer has to keep aside around 30% for roads etc. He can sell only the remaining 60-70% as plots.
Then where is the 50times increase? It might be 7-8 times increase. This sort of hike happend almost every where in india.

It has go to do with demand and supply , In india population is more than the land available , that is why with the slightest infrastructure developed investors jump on available lands , between india is not china , it is a free democratic country where any indian can invests anywhere

I am amazed at how India operates. There is a freedom of speech, but no freedom of fair police, judiciary, livelihood. Speech is cheap.

Off course speech is free. Other things cost. One has to pay for activating police, judiciary, govt dept. Dreams are also free. That is why Indians are fed dreams of cathing up and over taking China.

i am amazed at how china operates.. ppl been working in manufacturing sector like slaves for 18 hrs minimum(no overtime).. in india every company having higher employees subsidy food consisting of dal, curry chapati and rice while chinese companies provide there slaves only a bowl of rice... the most funny part is boiler suits in china is made of cheapest clothes ... this clearly justify government of china's love for there ppl... above all u wont dare to write anything against china from ur country in any blogging site .. if u do it then ... i dont have to say anything more ...

Mayawati has generated enormous wealth from private JP group who funded her party by fooling people,what these farmers will do when they don't have any land left,from where we get food if all the agricultural land is used to build infrastructure then from where we grow food grains.

Indian farmer is a real looser in all aspects. Take it farm products he grows, facilities and comforts of urban life, quality of education, provision for health etc.etc..Land is acquired at paltry price and later sold at exorbitant price. Farmer has no say in such matters. The only solution is land to be acquired should be on lease basis from the farmer with lease rent renewable every 3 years. These land plots can be converted into units of land with the provision of transferability. Farmer should be given a fair chance in the growth of economy.

Average Indian farmer has a very small land holding and his life is poverty stricken and full of miseries. His land is acquired or not acquired by anybody, he is doomed to continue his life of miseries.

But the question is why...??? Is it not bcos the capitalists have such a stanglehold over the Govt. policies and decisions ? Why is the farmer not made even a 10% stakeholder in the bargain, when just bcos of the acquistion the prices have gone 50 times. The same story is seen in all other projects too. And little said of dam projects the better. Bcos there the tribals dont even know that they have been taken for a ride. No wonder we are seeing a spurt in Naxalism at a time when economice growth is at an all time high.

but doing forceful acquasition is not the answer. doing labour in factory can't be better than farming. its better to live like a king doing own work (farming) than working like slaves in factoriesunder corrupt supervisors.

anyways there is no future in India itself. Indian condition is not too good frm Gulf countries. Indian govt. (coorupt congis/bjp) is selling Indian ores at peanut prices, democracy in India is only on papers in reality elections are won here because of money/muscle power. to me if you are a normal hardworking/corruptionfree person than there is no future of him in India.

With no check on the BORDERS & migrants across the states,it is next to impossible to maintain the cities of India...hence all the cities of INdia has SLUMS full of Biharis & Muslims...
