You need to go there and study to figure out and understand the learning that happens. From outside they may very well look like placement agencies.

Who ever said that MBA is education.

Management institutes serve the role of filtering out well rounded people from the millions of graduates that our diploma mills churn out every year.

A pvt company then can go to one of these institutes to hire the best slave.

Smart people dont need education and have MBAs working for them.

MBA is simply education of how to run a business.

In old times, there were no business colleges but people did business very well.

Once these big companies realize all they need to do is find students with the right attitude and aptitude, it can train, educate and hire highly skilled workers themselves at a fraction of the cost of hiring and retaining these hyped IIM characters.

But companies don't have the patience to develop talent in-house, so they have to pick it off the shelf at fancy prices.
