THE PRIVATE PLAYERS NEVER WANT TO KEEP PRICES LOW BECAUSE IT HITS THEIR PROFITS..THE GOVT HAS STOPPED BEING AN WELFARE STATE AND IS PLAYING HORRIBLE GAMES WITH THE NATION..ITS REMINDS US OF BENGAL FAMINE IN THE MAKE..
MY ADVISE IS THIS...STOP BUILDING STORE HOUSES...GIVE THE FOOD GRAINS TO THE PUBLIC..LET THEM STORE IT..
Is the person fit for the ministry ? If he is unable to perform or don't like to perform, then what for he is holding the portfolio ? I think incompetent should step down himself or should be thrown out without any compromising.
Since India has a Hijara Prime Minister hence you should not expect any improvement in the conditions of the poor and the middle class since he clearly says that he cannot do anything about anything since he is a HIJARA. Even he is scared of taking any action against any Minister since they threaten him his Prime Minister ship. Hence he does not want to take any action against anybody even if one loots the country like Kalmandi of 17000 crores of the public money. I would advise the Hijara Prime Minister to please resign from his seat in the interest of poor, middle class and the nation and go home otherwise even Guru Nanak will not save him rather he will punish him in the toughest of the measures .It is better for him that he has ruled India for such a long time , now at least leave the poor to live otherwise the last few years and after death what will be the conditions of him.
It is sad to note the Supreme Court order and Govt response. Neither of them have viewed reality. Come to Andhra Pradesh [YSR's]. Here Power is free. Food grains free. Medicare free. Even hindu pregrancy function is conducted by Govt. This is all supposed to be for poor. But it is garnered by ruling elite. Poor instead of going to work spend time in standing in Que for them. There is acute shortage labour in state, when politicians say poor have no work and so poor. Main thing is urban, near urban low strata garner the benefits; even though they have avenues to work and pay. Those is far off lands in forests and deserts only suffer when there is drought etc. but whatever politicians do they are not going to benefit, because they are not aware of benefits available to them. and govt has no access to them.
Thats a nice one - I surely believe that price rise in our country is more to do with individual (or corporate) self interests than failure of crops or monsoons. This is very tragic and I don't know how may innocent people die each day due to hunger.

true, that bookworm MMS has clue to solve real problems and is making evry problem worse by his stupiidity .
In India, 1. Promote poverty by free ration.(Tendency of peoples to come under BPL not in APL). 2. Promote religion by vote bank politics. 3. Promote caste by reservation. 4. Promote subsidies.(Even upper middle class need subsidy for LPG) Instead of giving subsidy for everything Govt. can encourage people to work & earn more. NREGA is a good step.
Subsidy should be there for the deserved who can't work due to physical/mental disability.

If you give free foodgrains for poor, It will make them more poor and lazy. Infact they are poor, because they are lazy. Train them properly, shape them to work. Make mega Labour orientated Indsutrial Parks all over india and employee them. Free food grains only for disabled, who can not work. Not for the people who don't want to work.
