THE PATHETIC THING ABOUT THIS ARTICLE IS...THEY ARE TALKING THE ISSUE FROM ONE SIDE..IGNORING TRIBALS THERE FEW THOUSANDS LIVING...SECOND THE FOREST WHICH IS A SOURCE OF LOTS OF WATER RESOURCES IN THE AREA AS IT IS A WATER CATCHMENT AREA...THIRD, THE WILD LIFE DIVERSITY IN THE AREA.
WHY DO WE NEED TO PUT THIS PLANT HERE INSTEAD OF MOVING IT TO OTHER LOCATIONS INCLUDING ANDHRA WHERE IS STEEL IS ABUNDANT.

Bluddy Politics, nothing else... bribe the govt, then everything will be allowed. What law and order is doing there? All police men should be removed, they are doig nothing.
Congress donot want progress in odisha. As odisha is govern by a non congress govt. They create such obstacle in name of environment. Industry can be created taking care of environment rule and regulation. They want odisha people always go for jobs to delhi and mumbai etc.

ranjit, you are not assessing the environmental loss including the wild life, and water catchement area. these hills are source for water for few creeks, and couple of rivers.
mining will kill the forest and hills, and the devastation is going to be enormous.
I am with you on one fact..congress politics...why they are not stopping zindal plant in AP where more devastation is looming for future generations.
