If you analyze the trend of corruption in our country, it only got from bad to worse with new people coming in and old ones retaining their power. So, as long as we people allow this, there is no cure.May GOD bless us and our posterity from these vultures and crocodiles and sharks. Sivaproactive
I am aware there are several broadband users who are frustrated with the poor up time of their Plan 750 -unlimited. The majority of the time, users will find their laptop unable to open the desired website, GOOGLE,Yahoo etc. with a "timeout" feedback. The real reason is that this Plan is overcrowded and the way out I have been advised is to move to a different plan, say Plan 500 or 900, away from this PLAN 750. Users may want to give it a try.

A more effective way is to go for high speed limited usage plans. Unless you are connected to the internet 24 hours, you do not need to subscribe to UNLIMITED USAGE plans.

There is yet another problem with BLNL. I use the 600 Combo plan which allow speed upto 2 mbps (I never get that speed, but that is another story). What happens is that this broadband line works fine during the day, but from 6.30 PM to 6.30 PM, the broadband has un believably innumerable restarts - the orange link light stays stable only for few minutes, then it starts blinking and the cycle repeats. And after 6.30 in the morning, all fine.... I wonder what and how BSNL is manipulating. My repeated complaints did not solve the problem and I am now planning to take it up to higher authorities but my hopes for a satisfactory solution is extremely bleak.

I think BSNL owes an explanation to its users as to why it can provide sustained high speed and high quality perf and why does vary drasti- cally wrt to time slots ? The oter problem is that BSNL has still not come out with dedi- cated hot line numbers for registering service complaints. Even in the middle of the night, if you call, you are still in a queue and are forced to listen to monotonous voices marketing their plans with every word mispronounced just as a lady sells batata wada on railway platforms. Why can't BSNL cut out this verbal garbage part from their hot- line service and provide some relief to users who want service support in a hurry?

Same story with me as well. I understand from many friends that this is a deliberate and un-written rule for private companies to come up at the cost of customers. The benefit goes to all including the hon.minister Raja the great. Sivaproactive
Although SMS spam is illegal under common law in most jurisdictions, there is NONE in INDIA. Still get unsolicited advertisement sms and calls.. If you're roaming and happen to pick up one of those spam call.. you lost money.

The worst culprits here are Reliance and Tata Indicomm sending useless sms messages round the clock, despite several protests having been launched with them.
