Comfort
by MktWatcher on Nov 30, 2010 10:09 PM

Mr.Murthy,
I am working in a manufacturing company, in a seniormost position. We all enter the company at 9.00 Am, Get out at 5.30 P.M.The lunch time is strictly 1.00 to 1.30.
This is the rule for every one in the company.
But my earnings are half of what my peers would get. What do you think of this situation?
Why don't you employ more people and tell them to follow the timings strictly. That's not rocket science. This way you can employ more and pay less. Will they be comfortable.?
Why don't you reduce the cost of your service too, because your company is already earning a lot!How many small and company can you influence to get computerised?
Can you give service to Indian small & medium scale companies?

India's population problems
by AswathaKumar K on Oct 30, 2010 11:51 AM

India is so over populated, and some of us go and settle abroad, it would help the individual and both the countries.
I dream of large number of people from India going to different countries, say Australia, Russia, Americas etc and settle and be happy and ease India's population problems to certain extent.

Justify your own business model Mr. Murthy
by Sreejith Shankar on Oct 30, 2010 11:19 AM

Infosys is one of the largest 'exporters' of youngsters to US on various onsite client 'projects' and conveniently call it Consulting. How do you justify that model? I'm sure this comment was inspired by the new US visa fees rule that came into effect earlier this year

it is always good that Asian workforce and find work in Asia and North-American workforce can find work in North-Americas. It would be good for all.

looking in past, it was always $$ to begin ... rest of the competitive world from europe to japan is recent arrival.
