Foreign funds are creating a bubble in the Indian stock market and at the same time bloating up the rupee, which is bad for our export sector. Brazil is imposing a hefty 4% tax on inflows to discourage this. We Indians are getting carried away with "investor confidence" - as we get carried away with all things phoren.

Bravo, I agree with you .See the benefits of Rs at 25 .All exporters if see the logic given by you will reduce the import value by 40% and all products related to oil industry shall be cheaper. This will make cost of all goods produced in India cheaper by same logic and the benefits can be given to exporters by the govt in the way it is given in China. BUT the issue noe is , who is not allowing that to happen in India. The swiz account holders having 14 lac crores stacked there. Their value will come down by same percentage as moment you bring dollar -rs to Rs 25 the value of their Black money will drop to 8.5 lac crores.
Manmohan JEEEEEE and Chidmabram JIIIIIII and BJP jeeeeeee and Sharad Pawar Jijijij all know this better than I and you. Mr CR Rangarajan (RBI Gov in 1992) who devalued Rs to Rs 34 and above , wrote in his book after joining AP as Gov that Rs should be at 24 level to dollar. What a smart bureucrat he was . Tail wagger!!!! Jai Hind

Exports create jobs. Imports hardly do.
