Science have limited scope
by Matha Kamal on Oct 04, 2010 02:51 PM  | Hide replies

My son who was in XII asked me to allow him to join an animation course as he was not interested in Maths, and I was interested to send him to some engineering course. But if you have imagination and skill sky is the limit for those who opt creative fields. Those who opt of science or scientist job have ,limited scope. The naked truth is that there is no scientific research or invention taking place in these so called scientific organisations. They all run by Southiese, and there is always a higher caste domination, they nourish people based on caste and lower cast or obc simply does not have much future in scientific organisations. They are all run by Brahmins or upper caste , they plan whole organisation setup like that everything is planned so that even after 10 more years setup will continue like this.

There is ultimate bureaucracy existing in scientific organsiztions, if you follow 3 monkey principle then only you can survive, ie you see nothing, hear nothing, tell nothing, if you raise voice against the injustice you are numbered, you will loose promotions regularly & u will be harassed promptly, even if you contribute great you will be treated like the child prodigy in 'Tare zamin par'

Lakhs of crores have spent on these institutions in terms of salary and faclities with no where a acceptable output visible. It is time to have a decentralisation of these institutes from the south to the rest of the country rather than provide laid back, unaccountability promoting atmosphere at the cost of the remaining peoples hard earned money.

Don't say that all southies benefit from these institutes. It is only the Tam-brahm mafia that operates and benefits mainly from them.

I have ton of friends in scientific field who are non brahmins. Better you get education first before introducing all sort of things. I believe you got your college degree in reservation instead of scoring good marks.
