Congraets Mr Giridharan Most of these enterprenur or innovative poeople come from south & west india only because of their progressive mindset. In north people are still obsessed with corrupt govt jobs/shit entrance exams/politics & hence very difficult to find innovators or creative person as society has wrong mindset.

Dude, You are mistaken...there is a cultural difference..You can not say people of north india are corrupt....if they are corrupt then how the richest states of india are from north only..and they are Himachal, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi,Uttranchal....U can not target all north indians....I have seen the condition of karnataka and andra...There condition is worst because ....becuase ur system is worst... i dont see the proper public transaport there...local transport is pathatic..... where the money is going which Central government is sending for the development of south indians...I have lived in 18 states of India and from my personal experience I can say that people of south are more corrupt.. i am not pointing on all...but majority is there.

Delhi, Punjab and Haryana (uttaranchal & HP are actually backward states)have grown rich by looting the rest of India. The CWG is a good example of how Delhities and Punjabis have pillaged the taxpayers of India. Why is it that Mumbai Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad have no Govt. run metros while the Delhi metro gets govt funding and is not asked for a balanced balance sheet? The so called Green revolution in punjab & Haryana was ushered in by building bigs dams with the money collected from the rest of India while the centre never bothered about irrigation in Andhra and Karnataka.

I dont want to blame the british for everything, but it is generally seen that regions under direct british control breed more corrupt people than regions under our kings. The British were hell-bent to destroy our values and create a thoroughly corrupt and morally depleted middle-level managing work force.

Robert Clive & Warren Hastings were punished for looting India. Not a single post Independence politician has been punished.Jagjivan Ram was exonerated by Indira Gandhi when he 'forgot' to pay his taxes .C.R.Rajagopalachari, when he founded the Swatantra Party, said,” Corruption is like drops of rain." We have to start from the top, to root our corruption. The rising GDP competes with inflation. FDI investments are allegedly being fed by illegal holdings from tax havens. The Govt. should open one window clearances for business entrepreneurs with tax free inducements.
