Car manufacturers, including the "publicly honest" Mr Tata, are heavily bribing certain planning agencies, cabinet ministers, CMs, NGOs and media to promote the industry. Planning commission, and by extension PMs blue eyed boy - Montek Ahluwalia - has done little to speed up public infrastructure, especially the numerous metro projects in several cities. For last 12-15 years, some 20 metro projects are deliberately kept in cold so that the auto industry is benefited.
Why should a country that cannot boast of single pothole-less road in the entire country and where a 80 kmph is the maximum spped limit for a road to be classified as expressway, allow so many car manufacturers without charging any form of social and environmental tax?
